"I'm tired. It's the only way to fix this."
"I'm tired. It's the only way to fix this."
"What do you mean," Ellie was panicked.
"I mean I won't be coming back."
"What do you mean? I don't understand."
"I'm letting the fire take over for good. You won't ever see me again."
"No, please," Ellie yelled crying.
"I'm sorry. Goodbye." The flames engulfed him.
"No please Arien," She yelled grabbing his hand.
It was too late. Ellie grabbed Louane's hand.
"A-Arien," Ellie stuttered.
Louane shook her head.
"W-What," Ellie mumbled as she started tearing up. "Please tell me this is a joke. A sick, sick joke," Ellie said through tears.
She sadly shook her head again.
"I'm sorry…"
"Wh-What happened to h-him," She mumbled through tears.
"He went dormant. I'm sure he'll come back, one day."
"What does that mean," Ellie asked trying to calm herself.
"He's basically sleeping in my mind right now, but I don't know when he will wake up."
Ellie's eyes dimmed. "In your mind huh," Ellie mumbled under her breath.
"Yeah, why?"
"Nothing just thinking aloud. Oh, I seem rude I'm Ellie and you are,"
"I'm Louane." She stuck out her hand for a hand shake.
Ellie shook Louane's hand. "Um, If you don't mind me asking. What are you," Ellie asked awkwardly.
"I'm a soul who was separated from their body, but I'm not dead. Also, I am technically possessing his body."
Ellie looked at Louane wide-eyed. "Um, ok," Ellie squeaked. She looked at the sky and noticed it was getting late. "Want to come in," Ellie offered
"Sure."
