"That's really cool. Way cooler than my power." Ellie says jokingly while her arm twitches more intensely. She tries to hide her arm, but it's obvious

"I could probably get it to stop temporarily, if you wanted," Khian offered. It was really just a simple matter of relaxing the muscles that were under stress, but he wasn't going to touch her without permission.

"YOU CAN DO THAT" Ellie yelled with complete shock.

Khian retreated slightly, taken aback by her shock. "Temporarily," he restated. "So is that a yes, or…?"

"YES IT'S A YES!" Ellie yelled with joy. "Wait, how long is temporarily" She asked confused

"Around an hour or two, I imagine," he answered reaching a hand for her arm until his fingers brushed against it. He concentrated, and within moments the twitching had eased and then ceased altogether. He shrugged again and said, "Hope that helps."

"wow thanks, I wish I could repay the favor somehow," Ellie said looking at her arm shocked it wasn't twitching

"Um… if it's not a problem could you stop the twitching again some other time if it happens again." Ellie asked nervously

Where Xander is from, orphanages are sub-par, and he couldn’t bring himself to go to one, so he tried to make a living himself and had to resort to thieving.

"Oh, I have to go Khian. Thank you again" Ellie says running away.

Xander walked by in his very slouching, slow walk. His hands were in his pockets as he went on. He caught a glimpse of Ellie dashing past several feet in front of him, then looked far to his right, where Khian was. He wondered to himself if she was running from him.

Ellie stops in her tracks noticing Xander. "Oh, Hi Xander." Ellie says cheerfully.

Xander froze up a little.
"You know me?" he asked softly.
He had his hands in his pockets and hair covering one side of his face as he tried to hide the sudden surge of nervousness.

"I know everyone, don't ask how I have my ways," Ellie says with a smile.
