Tristan peered down the hole, "Okay cool."
Tristan peered down the hole, "Okay cool."
"Fine," he groaned. He rubbed his eyes. "Are the others on the way?" He started to stand up, but saw stars and fell back.
Enderstorm poked her head down the hole, trying to see how far down it went with her exceptional night vision.
"Oh, Tristan's here. Hi kitty. Come here kitty."
"Yeah, we're all here. Even Max. Ready?"
Tristan purred and sat up straight, "Hello Danny, are you feeling okay?"
Tess peered down the hole and shuddered. "I really don't like being underground…"
“Do you want me to fly down and scout ahead for you guys? I was brought up in perpetual darkness, and am used to shadows.” Enderstorm said as she shuffled her paws, wishing she could have eaten the deer.
"It probably won't be for long, I think the tunnel slopes up after a little while." She slid down the ladder and squinted into the darkness.
"Yeah, less go," he slurred. Then, all at once, he remembered the full implications of the hole and jumped up. "Yes," he said clearly.
Then Anna paused to let Endie go first. "If you can see, please go, I'm blind down here."
Enderstorm nodded, jumping into the pit, spreading out her wings slightly to slow her decent.
Tessa waited for everyone to go before her. "I'll bring up the rear. Keep an eye out for any baddies behind us."
"If you need help, I can see as well," Tristan noted.
"Tess. Be careful of that tree." He pointed to a tree a bit off to her right. "Bad vibes."
"Seeing people please go first," Anna said, rubbing her head after hitting it on the wall.
She glared at the tree stuck out her tongue at it.
Enderstorm eventually landed on a slope, a soft thump sounding as her paws hit the ground.
“It goes on some more, but not for too long I think,” she said.
"I can see relatively well in the dark, but like I said, I'll take up the rear."
Enderstorm waited for everyone else to come down, and then began walking through the tunnel.
'Ahhh can we go faster I'll give myself a concussion if I'm down here much longer.." Anna said, barely dodging a root aiming for her face.
Tristan slipped past the others and walked up next to Enderstorm
(I have to go for dinner and then play with little kids all night I'll be back in a few hours)
(Tess is going to go silent for a bit, so can we make the tunnel a little longer? Maybe be coming up to a large cave that they have to cross before continuing? I need to vacuum.)
Danny touched the dirt wall and hummed out loud. It was a single note and very flat, but the roots previously moving toward their faces backed off. "There we go. Shouldn't have to worry about plant attacks down here."
