Tessa groaned and rolled over, then sat up–bedhead on point. She tilted her head and tapped behind her ear. "Uh…hm… that's news…" she mumbled.
Tessa groaned and rolled over, then sat up–bedhead on point. She tilted her head and tapped behind her ear. "Uh…hm… that's news…" she mumbled.
"What is?" Tristan turned his attention to the slowly rising Tessa. "Is something wrong with your ear piece?"
She groggily shook her head, tapping the earpiece again. "No… they're talking. Uh… more test subjects?" She zoned out, listening to the crackling in her ear.
Danny's eyes snapped open. "What's going on?" He looked around frantically, scared he's missed something important.
Tristan's eyes widened, "More test subjects? Are they talking about new ones? Like us? Or are there even more recent ones?"
(I finished my math test early but I already know I failed)
(Haha we didn't have a quizzzzzzzzzz
She held up a finger. "More…new ones. Shapeshifters?" She scrunched her brows together, slowly translating the muffled and sometimes cut out words. "New batch… see how they fare." She stuck out her tongue in concentration. "I can't…… bring out the big guns?" The conversation ended with that, leaving Tessa in the dark again. Her wings drooped in disappointment. "Sorry. That's all I could make out."
(Ya me too)
(@Anonymoose what math are you taking?)
"Hmm," He thought for a second, "That's okay. I guess we'll see soon enough."
Tessa tilted her head. "You're not going to ask how I got that?"
"Well, it's better than nothing." Danny frowned. "Can you keep getting info?"
She twirled her hand lazily. "I bugged a bodyguard. The one that picked me up after I went ballistic." She ducked her head in shame. "I should've warned you guys I was gonna do that…"
(Will Enderstorm be able to find anything worth hunting in the forest?)
Enderstorm steps through the trees, trying her best not to brush against anything and alert potential prey.
(Yeah. The test is designed to take a few days, so they want to see all of their skills, including survival. Kinda like hunger games, now that I think about it)
"No, I think not telling us then was the safest option. Less people knowing means less chance of them finding out." He looked at Tess and grinned with pride. "Good thinking."
She still refused to meet their gazes. "That's… not what I meant."
(should we give them specific tasks based on abilities? So they all have something to do that'll help them get out.)
Tristan smiled, "I kinda want to explore, is that okay if I do?"
(Tristan can hunt)
Enderstorm gave up on being quiet and flew up above the trees, watching for movement. She saw a deer eating in a small clearing, and quick as a dart flew down and snapped its neck in her claws. She carried it back to everyone else, setting it down near the fire she and created.
(Enderstorm beat you to it)
(I'll come up with a system in study hall. Gotta go for now)
(bye co elder)
