[they looked curiously at the new dragons, syriant squeezing ángel's hand quickly. both of them just stared silently, heads slightly ducked]
One was a brown orange who looked like Gloam's figure but less elegant, long oak red horns, large wings, both to the length of their chest to at least the middle of their tail, almost serrated spikes running down to the tip of it.
And the other was a pale yellow with brown plated scales down the side in the pattern of brown, yellow, brown. They had a sail that waved in the wind like a horses mane, that almost went to the end of their tail, which, might I add had a scorpion-like barb at its end. They flicked out a black tongue every now and then.
And not to mention Gloam was in there too, flying alongside Loch.
Amber: (face turns bright red) Someone please help me.
Ameria: Can't…Mizu's on me
Mizu: Not moving.
[syriant still stood, head ducked and wings snapped close to his body, while ángel took the more dramatic route. he bowed, wings stiff and tucked and one hand on his chest. both remained silent]
The yellow one tilted its head before the orange one bowed to Angel.
"Syriant, Angel, this is Rust and Thunderbird," Gloam said, pointing to them respectively, Rust as the orange one and Thunderbird as the yellow one.
[ángel seemed rather pleased that the orange one had returned his greeting, and syriant popped his neck before relaxing again]
á: "hello rust, thunderbird. i'm ángel."
s: "and i'm syriant, or suriant. welcome back, ladies. how was the trip?"
Gloam didn't answer, instead, she went over to Amber and silently watched her phone over her shoulder.
"…I'm not a lady-" Rust squeaked, making Thunderbird give a deep chuckle.
[syriant hissed a laugh, baring a grin playfully]
s: "oh i know, i was referring to gloam and loch. although, if you don't mind me saying this, you'd make quite the fabulous mistress."
[ángel barely restrained a snicker, quirking one side of his mouth]
They both blinked at him.
"Well, I heard we were going to fight a snake thing, do you know where it is?" Thunderbird said, flicking her barbed tail at a mouse that ran past.
á: "oh he's not here. he left, i think. and uhh… don't mind syriant. he's a terrible flirt."
[syriant flashes a sly smirk, arranging himself]
s: "i haven't any idea what you're talking about, ange!"
[ánge lightly punches syriant in the arm, glaring]
á: "shut your trap, you hoe. anyway, yeah, he left! he might be back, though."
They still looked quite confused but Thunder shrugged it off.
"Of course, I come all this way to not fight." She sighed, sitting down as Rust awkwardly scratches his neck.
[ángel shrugged]
á: "i'm sure if you want to fight, someone will spar with you. namely syriant. although, right now he seems too busy showing off for rust, which i'm… more than a little concerned about. dragons don't have human forms in your world, do they?"
She shook her head, "I don't even know what that means…"
[syriant immediately deflated]
s: "ah. well, it means you can turn into a human version of yourself. i didn't realize you could not."
[ángel doesn't even hold back on the laughter, doubling over with a wheeze]
á: "can't go 4 hours without making an absolute ass of yourself, huh?"
[syriant flushes, and mutters under gritted teeth]
"I don't see why we would need it, considering they're just squishy things." Loch butted in, "But if you have the ability to give the ability that would be great, much less awkward."
Faal: Had remained outside the area, tail curling round his side. A forked tongue slips past his lips, listening silently
Highly doubt he will return…
Mumbles under his breath, knowing when the group said 'snake guy', he knew exactly who
Least not while I am in the vicinity
Loch yawns, her gills flaring as she heads back to her cave and slips back into the water with barely a splash.
s: "i… uh. our dragons frequently use their human or fey forms to integrate into our societies. i… i'm going to go. i think i might have figured a way out of here, and i want to see lithiel. oh, she's going to kill me!"
[he took flight, flying towards where they came from and… disappearing? curious. ángel watched him go with mild interest]
á: "lithiel is his girlfriend, you know. he's whipped. she's a half-elf, and possibly the most beautiful thing besides that pretty elf in that group that visits us so often. he's hot."
"Ah, so you like guys, that's pretty much the opposite of-"
"Thunder-!" Rust snapped quietly, nudging her in the elbow.
"Whaaat, it's the truth." She snickered, pushing him back with unintentionally more force, making him spread his wings out to regain balance.
á: "opposite of what? of you? are you like… straight?"
Rust gave her a glare and Thunder just laughed. "Well, I am but-" she looked at Rust, "someone else isn't"
"Thunderrr…"
"I didn't say her name."
[ángel gave them a suspicious look]
á: "ah. well, knowing syriant, he'll be back soon if he can find his way. maybe with some friends. sadly, biri is in fact female, but i mean. she's not even fully dragon anyway. welcome to the band of queer, rust."
"Wha-???" Rust looked around as if Angel was talking to someone else.
"I-I'm not gay-"
Thunder understood how he was taking that.
"Oh, yeah, Rust is straighter than a toothpick, someone else isn't too fond of guys."
