Vethec: Snorts Hello, Stefan of the Afterrealms. And Avrey… Claps a hand over his mouth Nice to see you, too.
Vethec: Snorts Hello, Stefan of the Afterrealms. And Avrey… Claps a hand over his mouth Nice to see you, too.
Stefan: Oh, that stupid name that idiotic child gave me… perhaps you would know me better by my mortal name… Jack. The ripper. Super creepy grin.
Avrey: screaming
Vethec: Yeah, sure. And I'm Chaos himself. Snaps fingers, silencing Avrey That's enough of that.
Avrey: huddles in a corner, shaking.
Stefan: Why, that's no way to talk to your guests.
Vethec: Realizes Stefan wasn't joking Okay, you are my least favorite mortal. Do you realize just how much paperwork you made me do? I spent a century trying to cover up your tracks.
Stefan: Of course I'm not joking!!! Who else would I be? grins. I'm glad I've kept you busy, oh death.
Vethec: I will personally drag you to hell.
Karea: Sighing Calm down, love.
Andry: Havig watched all of this, he simply moves with the speed of light, which he can still do, and snaps Stefans neck I was getting tired of him.
Vethec: Startled Thank you.
Stefan: groaning in pain, thrashing on the floor
Avrey: mouths a thank you, because he still can't talk
Vathec: Literally drags Stefan to hell You're welcome, Avrey. Unmutes him
Avrey: sighs, rubbing his arms thanks. I hate that guy.
Vethec: Same. He caused me so much paperwork.
Karea: Snorts
Andry: I can confirm this.
Silence has joined the chat
Silence: Looks back in time, seeing all that's happened, then gives his own version of a sigh, which is, as you've probably guessed, completely silent; he then watches everyone, curious.
Avrey: laughs nervously. So, uh, wh-what are y-your roles in the uh, the universe.? you s-seem to have some sort of O-omnipresence.
Silence: Watches Avrey, then signs the words "Who, me?"
Vethec: Unsettled by the presence of Silence Why are you here?
Avrey: nods, understanding. He signs back - "Yeah. You seem pretty cool"
Silence: Looks at vethec a moment, then signs to him, "I'm here because of my own reasons, Death." He turns back to Avrey. "Thank you. And yes, I do have a sort of Omnipresence, as you so eloquently stated earlier. But, not in that sense. I exist in the minds of those around me, and in the physical world. I'm like Kardashev." The last word has no direct translation, so Silence spells it out instead.
Avrey: *smiles, then nods. "That's very interesting. What do you specifically control over or observe? I've noticed all of you high order spirits have a certain aspect you control." He smiles, grateful he doesn't have to stutter to speak to SIlence.
Silence: Grins. "High-order spirits describes us perfectly. What I have control over is the Blind Eternities, the space between the worlds. It is truly quiet there, and as such I am completely silent. My form is a reflection of the Eternities."
Avrey: Nods. "I've had a lot of experience with lesser spirits. The can only partially influence the physical realms. I find it interesting that you embody and control so much. But tell me, is it…" he pauses, thinking. "Is it lonely there?"
Vethec: Watches Silence's signing, then signs back to both. "These Blind Eternities are the home of the Great Old Ones. I am hesitant to trust you, for this means you are infintely more powerful than you are telling us."
Silence: Sighs in his peculiar way again. "Yes, it is, Avrey. The only company I get is the passing Planeswalkers, the Ancients and other such beings of power." He then sees Vethec's signing. "Yes, this is true. I am more powerful than you will ever know. But that is not the point of why you do not trust me."
Vethec: Stunned, he sits down, hard. My Lord, I am sorry… I thought you were not who you said you were…
Avrey: watches the exchange, then looks down. "I have tried many times to enter the space between the realms. I've tried to draw power, to communicate, to influence anything there, but I've been locked out." He smiles. "I would so dearly love to visit. And perhaps, you can help me with my purpose as well."
Silence: "Hush, Vethec. There is no need to worry." He turns to Avrey. "You've been locked out because you were once an Ancient. You chose to become mortal and relinquish some of the power. That is why you were incapable of properly controlling it, until Andry gave it back to you. I would love to let you visit once more, if only to appease that burning desire to go back."
