"Drink, like as in alcohol?" asked Christi, "Because neither of us really go to any taverns."
Fern nodded, her eyes on the broadsword in Arwood's lap. "I'd choose training over drinking any day."
Christi's eyes flicked to the sword, and she shoved Fern's shoulder to make her stop staring.
"Ehh, I'm gettin' old," Rig said dismissively. "Probably about time I looked to retire anyways. Sit me down in a pub with a reputation of brawls, and I'll be happy."
"Never drink again," Carnage said. He shifted uncomfortably, still trying to make himself as small as possible, still failing abysmally given his massive stature.
“I am with Paragine; training is necessary. I can live without a drink.” He smiled apologetically at Fern. “Sorry if I am making you feel uncomfortable, it is not my intention.” But he made no move to sheth the sword.
Thea shrugged, “I never drank in my life, and do not plan on starting. While I do not really train with the sword I would rather choose that option.”
Fern adjusted her position so it would be easier to pull out the knife that was hidden inside her boot.
Christi sighed and poked Rig with her foot. "Your turn buddy."
Fern looked at the ground trying hard not to turn and run away.
"Arright, arright. Would you rather live in a place where it's always ice cold, or live in a place where it's always really freaking hot?" Rig shifted to make himself more comfortable. "Cold for me. I hate hot weather."
"Cold," Carnage agreed softly.
"I'd rather live where it's really cold." said Christi. "I mean… sweaters. They exist."
Fern nodded, "It does make more sense to live where it's cold I guess."
“I was born in coldest regions of Thiregnam, so cold suits me best,” Arwood said softly, then he added as an afterthought. “Too much heat makes me feel ill.” Thea nodded many times.
“I would rather live where it is colder. I could always put more clothes on if I happen to get too cold”
(I guess it's Carnage's turn then.)
(Oh, is it? my bad, I didn't think it way my turn ^^)
Carnage hesitated, he hadn't entirely realized it was his turn. Finally he spoke, his words halting and doubtful. "Would…you rather live on the sun or the moon…?"
Rig held back a laugh. There was no point in telling Carnage you couldn't live on either, the Goliath wouldn't know that. "Moon," he said. "Sun's waaaay too hot."
"Um, the moon I guess." said Fern. "I've never thought about living anywhere but Earth."
"She's very unimaginative." explained Christi, "And I wanna live on the sun! Assuming I would actually be alive of course."
Thea nodded quickly. “I’m with you Christi, living on the sun would be….exhilarating!”
Arwood thought for a second then shrugged, “I guess I would like to live on the moon. I have always wanted to see what mysteries her white lands hold.”
(Um… @Ash-has-a-One-Piece-problem are you still here?)
(I would like to keep this chat alive. Would y'all mind if I ask the next question?)
Arwood looked about the room for inspiration. Nothing came to mind. He looked down at the sword lying upon his lap. Without raising his gaze he asked his question, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Would you rather have one glimpse into your future…or change one thing from your past.”
Thea glanced at Arwoods bowed head for a second then looked back at the group shrugging.
“I would not want to change my past, it has made me who I am today. I would choose one glimpse into my future.”
"Change my past." they both blurted out at the same time.
(imma have to step out of this one, as fun as it is :( I just don't have time, and I don't want to hold you guys back)
(So do I, actually. :( Sorry)
