I’m not really good at keeping rps alive but character chats don’t usually take much and I have some character I need to flesh out. OCs from all different times and universes are welcome. It’s the usual randomly plopped into a large room.
The click of a latch was the only thing that signified the lone figure's entry. He looked around the large, empty room.
"This is all your fault," Kiyo muttered, shutting the door behind him. Who he was talking to, he had no idea. He peered around the room again, searching for any sign of another person.
A teenage girl seemed to pop into existence. Her purple hunting clothes and elfish ears seemed straight out of a Renaissance fair. "What the–" Acadia looked around, a deer-in-the-headlights expression on her face. "Where…what?" She noticed another person and waved a little sheepishly. "Uh, hey! Do…do you know where we are?" she asked him.
Kiyo, who'd gotten used to the silence of the large room, shot the strange girl a quick glare before shaking his head in answer.
Acadia put her hand down. "O-oh. Uh, okay." She looked around, trying to process what exactly was happening here. I was just back in the woods, what happened? And where'd that guy go? Jeez, I hope he's alright, she thought.
Kiyo, his instincts kicking in, examined the girl for any sign of danger.
"What's your name?" He asked, his voice soft and muted as usual.
"Huh? Oh! I'm Acadia," she introduced herself. "What about you?"
"Kiyo," he replied. A little uncomfortable sharing his name, but it would be safe considering no one knew his face.
(Yay this took off! Sorry had work)
Two girls appeared out of nowhere. They where holding hands and stumbled forward. One of them, who was slightly shorter, stumbled forward and the other caught her. When they noticed the others they quickly unlocked hands. The taller one blushed hard. They both looked around confused.
Kiyo narrowed his eyes. Could this be a trap of some kind? He viewed the others suspiciously.
The taller one stepped forward. “Hey I’m Gwen. Do you guys know what’s going on?” She asked looking around. The shorter one looked up at her in shock.
“Gwen you can’t just give out your name to strangers,” she whispered.
“This could be another test now introduce yourself,” Gwen whispered back.
“I’m Sophia,” she said reluctantly.
Kiyo raised an eyebrow, seeing no reason to distrust the girls but no reason to trust them, either.
''I'm Kiyo,'' he offered. Maybe this would be a chance to pretend he was a real person instead of just an asset.
Acadia was a little surprised when two girls appeared out of nowhere, but realized that she had probably shown up the same way. "I'm Acadia. And no, we have no idea," she replied.
Kiyo nodded briskly, affirming Acadia's statement.
Sophia looked them over. Both girls where wearing all white. Gwen just smiled and nodded along with both of them. “Well it’s nice to meet both of you even if it’s a little strange.”
Acadia realized, for some reason, that everyone else in the room had smallish rounded ears, unlike any Hylian she'd ever come across. Suddenly she felt rather self-conscious of her pointy ears and raised her left hand to touch one of them, then realized that the motion was awkward and tried to hide it by smoothing her hair. "Nice to meet you, too," she said.
Kiyo, not one to be social even though he was trying to break out of his shell, made a face.
"Sure," he said.
Ava noticed Acadia´s ears and widened her eyes. She´d never seen that before. She looked up at Gwen who hadn't noticed.
Kiyo noticed Ava's change of expression, following her gaze to Acadia's ears. He thought they were strange as well, but then, who was normal those days?
“So what district are you guys from?” Gwen asked keeping a smile on.
Ohhh Hylia they're staring, Acadia thought, but her embarrassment quickly changed to confusion. "Wait, what do you mean by District?" she asked.
Kiyo raised an eyebrow at the strange question.
''District?'' he asked.
When Kalin opened his eyes, he was not expecting to be in a completely different room. Let alone, a room. Even more, a room with people in it, in which after a quick, silent glance around the room, he had realized he was not quite alone.
Even Telu, the parasitic alien in his mind seemed to have seemed confused. So confused, they barely said a word, no observation from them. Kalin supposed he wouldn’t be getting anything from them..
Brushing some dirt from his jacket, he straightened his posture and exhaled. “Er…hello?”
Kiyo snapped his head toward the new voice, eyes widening in surprise.
''When did you get here?'' he demanded, wanting to know where he'd slipped up. What entrance had he missed in his examination of the room?
Raising his hands in surprise, Kalin quickly spoke. “I..Just now! I got here just now!” Which was the truth, a few seconds ago he’d just arrived.
