Plus all of my rps are kind of dead at the moment.

Hi!

Did someone say character chat?
(I was thinking we let the chat develop as it continues on based on characters placed in the chat. I guess I'll start.)
Malachi sat in the tall grass, pale arms hugging his just as pale knees to his chest. He smiled lightly when looking at the sky. It was always changing and it was beautiful. The fresh air also felt nice as it blew around his red hair. Stretching his crimson wings, he lie back on the hill to get into a more comfortable position.
A blue portal opened behind Malachi. A girl, looking to be about 16, stepped out. Her black and gold jacket was tied around her waist, and her gold halter top revealed life-size hawk wing tattoos on her back.
Anarchy was walking down the street, headphones on and blasting the Ramones, hands shoved in the pocket of her leather jacket and combat boots leaning behind some slightly red footprints.
((It's actually paint, she stepped in red paint and it's mentioned that the bottom of her boots are stained with red paint in the story, it's not blood))
(ahaha okay. Just an FYI, Malachi is from a universe where most technology hasn't been invented yet, but keep your characters the way they are. Just explaining why he'll be confused.)
The small boy jumped in surprise, not expecting a visitor, much less someone coming through a portal. He thought only his uncle could do that. The new person being a stranger, he scooted away, not knowing what she would do.
The girl turned back to the portal. With a wave of her hand, the metal rim surrounding it shrank, flying to her hand. She placed it in a slot on her left glove. She ran her hands through her black hair, which nearly reached her knees. She pulled a gold scrunchy from her wrist, deftly putting it up into a ponytail.
Octavian sat underneath a large crabapple tree, shielding himself from the sun. He tinkered with small pieces of metal in his hand.
Anarchy turned into the park, humming along to the song she was listening to and quickly messing with the threads over one of the rips in her black skinny jeans before tucking a stray lock of messy black hair under her headphones. I wanna be, Anarchy!~
Hoping not to be followed, Malachi made a run towards the wooded area of where he was, very unsure of the new stranger. He didn't realise another person was close by or the fact that the bright red was horrible at blending in with the greens and browns. Then again, he was only about 10 and quite shy at that.
(Also, this is not a park with paved streets, more like a nature reserve with only dirt paths. Sorry about that! My character's time period is set fairly far back so all this new stuff is gonna freak him out lollll)
Anarchy looked around, seeing something red in the trees. "Weird." she muttered, louder than she thought. She shrugged, looking down and realizing she was leaving behind foot prints. "Damnit, did I step in that paint?"
Upon hearing another voice nearby, Malachi stretched out his wings and flew up a short distance to a low branch that was still tick enough to hold his weight. He wished his dad was here to protect him, but the last time the boy had seen him was years ago. Who knew where he was now.
Anarchy sighed to herself, walking into the tree line. "Might as well hide out here for a bit…"
Hearing footsteps coming closer, the tiny child huddled in on himself, wings tucked behind him as well as his red scaled tail. These people might be dangerous, coming to search for someone of his kind. Malachi was abnormal, something that wasn't supposed to happen. Half-breeds were not supposed to exist.
((H U N N Y))
Anarchy pulled herself up into a nearby tree, sitting on the branch. Wait, no, don't think about that. She thought, shaking her head to clear the memories. "Nope nope nope, repressing that."
(wHAT? Is it bad that I have a half-breed dragon boi who's a shy bean? I think not. All he needs is a hug and he's good to go lol)
Malachi quickly shimmied up higher into the leaves, hoping not to be seen. It was a fruitless effort as he stuck out like a sore thumb and the leaves rustled on their branches as he moved.
((I know, that's what I was referring to))
Anarchy looked up. "Hello?"
The girl turned around.
"Hm, I thought someone had been here…" She shrugged. She started to walk, enjoying nature.
Malachi instantly froze at the voice. It sounded light and sweet, but he refused to answer back. He was too scared to.
Octavian looked up to see a couple others over in the grass, talking. He didn’t bother to get up and see what they were doing, he just watched.
