Jackson: It's not funny. It hurt.
Geneva: And it led to you getting shot again.
Jackson: Well, at least you got over your fear of cars.
Geneva: I'll stick to my motorcycle, but thanks.
Jackson: It's not funny. It hurt.
Geneva: And it led to you getting shot again.
Jackson: Well, at least you got over your fear of cars.
Geneva: I'll stick to my motorcycle, but thanks.
Kilándrè: Try getting your arm smashed inside a vanguard
Jackson: I'd rather not. That sounds like a very long hospital stay, and I'm not into those.
Geneva: His idea of recovery is going to the ER, then driving himself home and lying in bed streaming Netflix.
Kilándrè: It wasn't that long. We didn't have the time
Jackson: So is your arm like….crooked or….
Kilándrè: Has a nasty scar. But it's fine
Geneva: I have some pretty bad scarring on my arm from my surgery, they put three screws in my arm after it almost shattered.
Jackson: I have a scar on my stomach from almost being stabbed, and one on my arm, but that one's not too bad.
Incëreth: Almost been stabbed…
Jackson: Yep. I dodged, but he still got a good cut across my stomach and I passed out.
Incëreth: Good job anyway
Jackson: Thanks. I feel like I get injured a lot.
Martha: At least one good thing came out of it?
Jackson: What?
Martha: I got to meet Morgan, and now we're dating!!
Jackson: Well, I'm glad I helped you at least a bit.
Incëreth: OK…
Kilándrè: Do not talk about Ryl
Jackson: Who's Ryl?
Kilándrè: He's…gone
Geneva: So's Jasper.
Jackson: And Charlie.
Martha: And Anita.
Kilándrè: OK…
Jackson: Life's a bitch. Geneva would know.
Geneva: nods sadly
Kilándrè: Where are you from? I know it's across the Rift but where?
Geneva: Madison, Wisconsin
Martha: LaCrosse, Wisconsin
Jackson: Kalamazoo, Michigan
Geneva: I thought you were from Kenosha?
Jackson: My mom lived in Kenosha, dad in Kalamazoo, and so I went to school in WI and spent summers in MI.
Incëreth: Never heard of these places!
Kilándrè: Of course you didn't…
Nathaniel: So… Martha, if you're a nurse or doctor or whatever, can you explain why human doctors weren't able to fix my wings?
Kilándrè: I guess it's because they are humans
Nathaniel: Well, yeah, but humans can fix bones, right? They put some weird plaster stuff on it and it heals.
Kilándrè: They've long forgotten the teaching of the healing of the soul
Nathaniel: Mm… well, I'm beyond healing at this point, so I'm not entirely sure how I'll get home. A search party had to bring me back last time
