Rayla looks over at Kathy, having heard his short little story.
"Oh- shit- um, I could bring her back as many times as you want so you can kill her until you feel satisfied-" she says quietly.
Phoenix painfully swallows his dino nugget before giving Rayla and Kathy a scared look.
"No offense," he whispers, "But you guys aren't okay."
Danica sits down, too shocked to say anything more.
Kathy chuckles, “Oh i know…”
Suddenly, Danica looks out the window and freezes, her face going pale.
Rayla smiles cheerfully.
"Merely a byproduct of taking an unplanned swim where the River Styx, the River of Misery and the River of Pain all meet up. Mainly do to my draconic parent." she says.
She looks over at Danica.
Phoenix lets out a slow breath, "Oh boy. I…" he too notices Danica's expression, "Um… Are you okay?"
Kathy glances at the window. “What?”
Danica doesn't answer as she mutters unintelligible words. At last, four words could be heard amidst her seemingly-internal struggle.
"The sun is setting…."
Kathy huffs, “And? Not like i give a shit on what happens.”
Phoenix feels a mix of feelings rise in him at Danica's face; concern, wariness, protectiveness… He stands.
"Danica," he asks, taking a careful step toward her, "Talk to us. What's wrong?"
Rayla pauses.
"Full moon, right?" she asks.
Danica swallows hard. "I um….." she stutters, "I– there's something I haven't told you but I didn't think it would be important because i didn't anticipate the time we would spend here….."
Blade finally spoke again. "Well? What is it?"
Kathy hums, “Well i gotta get home but apparently i cant right now-“ he grumbles.
(dude if you gotta go we can pause until tomorrow lol)
(Naw not ME! There’s a set of rules that everyone has to be in their room by midnight-)
(Its a lore thing for kathy)
Danica swallows hard. "I um….." she stutters, "I– there's something I haven't told you but I didn't think it would be important because i didn't anticipate the time we would spend here….."
"Just- tell us, and maybe we can help." Rayla says softly.
(hey, just an idea; can we pretend whenever someone is busy and can't respond, their character mysteriously "vanishes" of the room? And then they return whenever the author jumps back on. That way we don't have characters just awkwardly "freezing" in the background, lol. This is taking on a roleplay feel, and I just thought it might be a good solution)
(Yeah! Or like- they had to go home-)
(sorry for my misplacement of punctuation here fellows)
Danica swallowed again, "Well, you see……" before she can finish her sentence, the sun disappears over the horizon. At first, nothing seemed to happen. But slowly, Danica began to change. Beginning at her scalp, her bright red hair turned an ominous black, and as the color crept downward, her subtle waves melted. Her skin, which was once tanned by the sun, faded pale, almost white like a sheet of paper. Her clothes changed as well to match the black appearance she was taking. her hands became transparent and looked glittered with stars. And her eyes…. instead of the fiery-red irises they once held, now they were completely empty white……….
(Yeah- either way it works lol; OR! Funnier idea- some random ass god snatches them and gives them a quest-)

(OH SHIT JUST GOT REAL BAD REAL FAST)
Rayla looks very carefully at Danica - well, not-Danica, that is.
"Um- hi!" she says politely.
