Lynn laughs, tracing a spiral. “What about talking about it? I’ve been studying psychology, I might be able to help”
Lynn laughs, tracing a spiral. “What about talking about it? I’ve been studying psychology, I might be able to help”
Aiden looks confused. "Psychology?"
Lynn chuckles softly. “Yeah. The science of the mind, how people think and act and what drives them to do or feel what they do.”
Aiden laughs. "We have a goddess for that."
Lynn rolls her eyes. “You probably beat her up though. Come on, let’s discuss things”
"Nah, I actually like her. I don't like hitting women." Aiden chuckles. "I- I think I'm done with talking about the past, though. It always ends up breaking me like it did earlier." He realises his scars are still visible and looks down.
Lynn sighs. “Alright. But I’m here if you need it.” She notices his scars as well, then touches one lightly. “And don’t hide them. It’s better not to hide things”
He jumps as Lynn touches one of his scars, then blushes. "O- okay."
Lynn draws back, blushing as well. “S-sorry. I know those kind of hurt.”
"N- no, they don't hurt much anymore. I was just startled." Aiden replies, his face getting redder.
Lynn smirks. “Ah, okay. I see.” She runs a finger down his arm. “What about that? Startling at all?”
(Why does everything turn into a romance :’D)
(Idk, but it's hilarious that we're so cool with writing that shit together!)
(Also, this one wasn't even intentional, which makes it better!)
Aiden turns a deeper shade of red. "I- I just wasn't expecting it, is all. I've had these hidden so long that I'd forgotten how they truly felt." He traces a long, ropy scar that stretches from his left shoulder down to his right hip. He's noticeably avoiding Lynn's gaze.
(Same!!! XD)
Lynn grins, noticing his blush and only wanting to make it worse. She pulls up her joggers, showing a long, purple scar on her thigh. “I’ve got some of my own too. Not as bad as yours, though.” She watches at it goes it his hip, smiling.
Aiden turns nearly crimson at that. "I-" his voice fails him again. He looks away, somewhat embarrased. "I see that."
Lynn smirks, devious grin widening as she touches his neck. “Do you? Because you keep looking away, pretty boy. What’s the matter?”
Aiden sighs and looks Lynn right in the eyes as she touches his neck. "I'm not used to anyone being so blunt with me."
Lynn tilts her head to the side. “Really? Well, I’m pretty damn blunt”
Aiden laughs. "So am I. That's why it confused me." He looks at a scar on the palm of his hand, then studies Lynn's face.
Lynn grins, touching the scar as she looks back at him, raising an eyebrow. “Whatcha thinking about?”
"You." he says.
Lynn feels herself blush a little, smiling wider. “you really are blunt, pretty boy”
"I know." he replies and leans in.
"You also love that about me." he whispers.
Lynn smirks, resting her forehead against his. “You know me so well, pretty boy.” She stars rubbing his back again, one hand sliding into his neck
The Oracle watches, eyebrow raises, and then disappears, giggling
Aiden inhales a little sharply, then smiles. His hands go to her head, one on the back of her neck, the other to her cheek.
Lynn grins, pulling him closer. “God damn, you’re smooth” she rubs his neck with her thumb, closing her eyes
