I read this series in fourth grade, and I can honestly say that it sparked my love of reading and writing.

YES! Oh, baby! I never actually finished this series, but Lemony Snicket and his prose are a national treasure!
He needs to be protected at all costs
Yes…
Lemony Snicket (His real initials are D.H. - I'm not going to say his real name for now) wrote a prequel series called 'All the Wrong Questions' about his time as a VFD agent. The series reveals what VFD stands for!
Cool!
I think I read them when I was maybe 8 years old. The first actual series I'd ever read.
…Wow
Yes! he's the one who got me into writing!
Wow
So… I read the series once.
Then my friend decided to read them and I reread all of them. Whoops
Omg A Series of Unfortunate Events is so hecking good I love it so much
Lemony Snicket taught me the correct usage of its and it's
Y E S
Lemony Snicket made me realise why I love reading.
I LOVE the writing in these books. The wordplay is amazing and I'd love to read them again someday.
THOSE BOOKS ARE AMAZING!!!!
YESS! The writing is absolute G E N I U S , Lemony Snicket is my actual idol
Lemony Snicket is awesome! I love how he just goes on tangents during the story and it totally just FITS the writing style. There are many that it wouldn't, but it doesn't seem out of place when he says something like, "Now, if Klaus had been aware of the fact that blah blah blah blah, then he would have done things differently" (Not directly quoting the book there, just making something up that he might say), or "now, (blank) is a word that means blah blah blah…" etc. I found them to be very episodic and sometimes slow, but otherwise great.
hello. I've only read the first book and half of the second because I somehow lost interest in the serie. I have watched the whole Netflix series, though
I have read the first three books and finished the netflix show and I LOVE IT (yes I know this is a dead post)
Yes! I've recently been rereading them a bunch as I own the entire series, and I recently binged the netflix series! Good stuff!
Haven't finished the Netflix show yet. How does it do in terms of adapting the book, and how is it in terms of a TV show?
It does a pretty good job and it's a good show, except the last episode
