If you're new, or just want to brush up on your skills as a roleplayer, I'll be here to help! I'm not saying I'm an expert roleplayer, there are in fact a few things I could improve on myself, but I'd say I'm a somewhat experienced roleplayer and wouldn't mind helping somebody out!

I do have some questions. I'm not a total beginner, but a lot of the time, I don't understand the wording for things. Like, what is a Mary Sue character? and what is an OC? right now I'm just guessing for all the definitions of almost everything. I think having a dictionary of some kind for all the rp terms would be super helpful.
OC: Original Character. This is a character you have created.
Mary/Gary Sue: This is a term used for a bland, unoriginal character.
OTP: One True Pairing.
Ohhh thank you. That's actually very helpful.
Got any more? I think I know most of them..
OP = Over powered… so a character that is super powerful like Thanos or Superman.
OG.. hmmm…. i don't actually know what that one is..
OG I believe is just original

Hi! Sorry it took me so long to respond.
A Mary Sue isn't always a bland and unoriginal character. They can have interesting features and qualities. What makes them a Mary Sue is the fact that they usually get what they want. The universe bends to their will. All of the characters love them. They are absolutely flawless an nothing in their life goes wrong.
An OC is an original character. You can make OCs from fandoms, too.
OP means overpowered. Can also be a Mary Sue.
We made this dictionary a while ago, maybe that could help with some of these questions?
