Kissa gasps, yanking her arm away from Silver then being thrown to the tile that surrounded the pool by the gust of Silver’s wind. She props herself up on her arm, glaring but actually staying down for a second before pushing herself off of the ground.
What is wrong with her? Can’t she see she’s just making everything worse??!

Ben does his best to shield Miki from Silver’s splash, then dives under with her. Instead of heading to Miki’s leg, he grabs the chunk of ice that was connecting her leg to the sheet on the top of the pool and quickly melts through it. On his way back to the surface, he wraps his arm around Miki, pulling her up with him and bringing her to the edge of the pool all in one action, working as quickly as he can.

Miki held onto Ben and leaned on the edge of the pool, finally upright enough to cough properly and force the water out of her asophagus. She retched out a mouthful of pool water and sucked in a lungful of air. Her throat burned from the chlorine and from choking, but she could finally breathe. She gave Ben a nod and tried to wave her hand in a 'thumbs up' motion.

"MIKI!" Silver shrieked as soon as she broke the surface of the water and saw Ben had already taken Miki to the edge of the pool. She beat her wings, sending a spray of water everywhere, and floundered her way over to them. She grabbed Miki's face and forced her to look at her. "Are you okay? Are you gonna die? Can you breathe?"

(Congrats to us for leaving this dead for an ENTIRE YEAR)(💀)(also I missed Silver she’s so cute)

Ben coughs, pulling himself out of the pool and slicking his hair out of his face before offering a hand to help Miki out.
Violet swims over after Ben and Miki but doesn’t pull herself out immediately, instead waiting beside Miki to help her out in case she was too weak. She doesn’t bother to try to calm down anyone anymore, now that Miki wasn’t actively drowning.
Kissa’s feet stay planted where she is as she glowers over, crossing her arms. She was just upset nobody else was yelling at Silver, really.
(Wait are the boys coming home yet? They should pull up to this mess lol everyone sopping wet in the backyard 💀)

Miki grabbed Silver's face the same way Silver grabbed hers and locked eyes with her. "Silver. I'm fine now. Stop yelling." Her throat burned to speak and her nasal passage and sinuses ached from the water and the chlorine. She dunked Silver under the surface and released her, letting both Ben and Violet help her out of the pool. It was awkward, her body heavier than usual, with the chunk of ice still attached to her leg.

Silver spluttered, immediately resurfacing, and scrambled out of the pool on her own, splashing water everywhere in her hurry. She raced to Miki's side again. "Are you sur–MIKI there's still ice on your leg!"

Miki grabbed Silver's chin again and made her look at her. "Silver. I know. But I'm not stuck anymore. I'm out of the pool. I'm fine."

(OKAY SO we're just gonna say that since Ben didn't respond to Dio then Dio had a Concern and loaded the boys up into his carriage and came back to Ben's house.)

Dio's carriage pulled up to the house and stopped. Dio stepped out first and waited for the two Kavi to follow him. As he stood in the drive, he frowned and turned to look at the house. He could feel a great deal of water being disturbed. There was… ice. A lot of it. And several people were wet.
What on earth have they been doing?
"Ryder, Gabriel… Benjamin has a pool, doesn't he? Why would they be swimming when it's this cold?"
