I'll be here to offer suggestions as to how to improve your description as well as character development in your writing!

The structure of a basic roleplay consists of:
- A title
- The prompt/plot
- Rules
- and a character template
Title:
Should be relating to the story or type of roleplay
An easy example would be: Superhero RP
A more complex example would be a bit more specific or creative: Saving The Day
It is recommended to place in the title if it is available to join or not by typing either:
Open
OR
2/8, 6/9, 3/10
The numbers are just an example. It just means: Hey, this many people have joined, but I'm looking for a total of this number.
If you have enough people, type in:
Closed
OR
8/8, 8/9, 10/10, ect
Prompt:
This is simply to draw people in by telling them what the rp will be about!
You can be as general or descriptive as you want with this.
Beginner example, using the superhero example: Our characters have powers and use them in an attempt to stop the villains from destroying the entire city when the trained heroes fail to come.
Here is a more slightly more complex example: Everyone is born with a specific power, may it be an elemental power, one of healing, or even one of destruction. What would become of this world were that power to be used in the wrong hands?
Our priority is the safety of others, even at the costs of our lives. But if given the choice, would you run or fight?
Rules:
Here we are. The rules.
Number one thing: In the wildcard category, there is a pinned post by @andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) with basic rules. (It's this post btw) Stated or not THESE DO MATTER!
After this, you can add additional rules such as the amount of cursing allowed, what type of ships with characters are allowed, things like that.

The character template:
There are plenty of templates used in roleplays here now. They can be basic or extremely complex.
I'm going to give you a general one that isn't too overwhelming, but also not lacking description.
Name: (Easy enough)
Gender: (Will usually be male, female, or gender-fluid)
Sexuality: (Optional! Most will have this in the template due to the welcoming of the LGBT+ community)
Age: (You can place an age range here if you like!)
Appearance: (It is good to be descriptive in appearances as in what color skin do they have, what color eyes, and hair color and length. It's also good to have the height. We wanna know what they look like!!!)
(Example: Short, light brown hair with a single braided in the front, dark brown eyes, light tan, fairly skinny, has a small scar on her right cheek. About 5'2 in height.
Clothes: (Self explanatory. What do they wear most of the time?)
Personality: (Example: Talkative, friendly, outgoing, a caring person. Can be impatient at times.)
Other: (Anything else you want to add!)
