I'll be doing one request at a time—first come, first serve. If you'd like to request that I draw a small character group or couple, I can also do so.
Think of this. A character who's limbs do not connect to the body, but float around him. Arms and legs. His body and limbs are sharp, his clothes like TADC colors, and he always smiles. Also, he does not show his eyes, because they are covered by a top hat.
This sounds super fun to draw!! Could you tell me a bit more?
i.e. What does his face look like? What color hair does he have? What kind of hairstyle? Fashion taste? Skin tone? Is he tall or short? Does he float, or is it merely his limbs that float? What do you mean his body and limbs are sharp—is his character design very geometric or cartoony (you mentioned TADC, which I'm assuming is short for The Amazing Digital Circus), or is it a case of prominent bones?
Also, what is his personality like? That'll help me get a feel for what kind of pose he should have!
Well, he has pitch black flesh, a turncoat with multiple colors, and he mainly floats to move. His joints are very sharp, as well as his body, making him seem quite geometric. He is quite tall. And very fancy. But he's also very silly, and has the act of a very kind and gentle guy. But he does look a little creepy with the big grin that takes up half his face. Basically, think of a ball, then draw a curved line across it. That's his mouth. He has a very big mouth.
Well, he has no organs. In fact, he looks kinda polygony, sharp. He looks almost alien. Take this for example, and use this form with your sketch. Expunged origin form.
Hmmm, I'm having a hard time visualizing what you explained, and I'm afraid I don't know what "expunged origin form" means. Can you think of any other existing characters or references that might help give me an idea? Maybe photos that you could link, or that I could otherwise look up?
I'm assuming he's at least a humanoid. Is his body similar to some of the crystal gems from Steven Universe, maybe?
i'm deadly curious about this (been eyeing this thread for a few days haha)- but do you think you could do one of my guys next? if you're up for it that is :)

Alright. I'm not sure which character I'd like you to draw, as I have so many and I love them all. If you'd like, you could look through them and pick one. What they are and names are on all o them, but some of them are pretty vague. If you do choose one, I'll fill in any missing details for you here?
Sorry about wasting your time. The drawing you made was perfect. Could you color it in? And one more thing. Could you make a drawing of him interacting with another character? Like Pomni? The two basically act the same way.

@Axel You're not wasting my time at all!! I was a little stumped, sure, but the idea of drawing a character that isn't traditionally human was super exciting! The only reason I asked a lot of questions is because I want to get him right. If you're sure you're happy with the sketch, and not just settling for what you may think is my benefit, then I'll go ahead and polish up what I have! Including adding color.
And I'll happily draw him and Pomni (whomever that is that I still have to Google). Though, I think I'll treat it as another instance altogether, so it will have to wait until after @Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror and @epitragicosity get a turn. Just to keep things fair!

Hi there, if you are willing, I would love for you to draw my character, Rynn. She has long black hair, light blue eyes, and pale skin. She dresses alternatively and wears heavy dark makeup. She has lots of tattoos and has some facial piercings (I haven't fully decided which ones so feel free to do whatever). I'm going to try and make some progress on these ASAP, but for my own benefit I'm not going to give any estimated times, as life has been far busier than planned at the time of creating this thread. Just a heads up, seeing as I will get to ALL of these eventually!
@Axel I'm not great with cartoon styles, but I hope the bolder lineart and saturated colors makes up for it! Let me know if this design is okay to use on your next drawing, whenever you get a chance!
(@Dayzed, I was a little sneaky—while working on Axel's character I stumbled across my drawing of Jake and realized the perspective was pretty off. Originally I sketched him looking upwards, but throughout the rest of the process he ended up looking straight forward and I never ended up fixing it! Long story short, I made another version and replaced my previous link with it. I think it looks better that way, but it's entirely up to you whether you want to use this one or the original! I have a copy of both just in case ^^)
(oh- thank you for fixing it!! haha and dont worry about it- i really thought that was intentional to add to the cocky asshole™ vibes LOL cause Jake would 100% do that kind of pose, but anyhow, thank you lots for the drawing! and i appreciate you taking the time to fix it too even though you didnt have to! 😊(i also did just recently add it to his profile and i get so incredibly happy when i see it))
