Hi all, a small release went out tonight that included a ton of bugfixes and small polishes around the site, as well as a large rework of the code around worldbuilding list pages (the pages that list out your characters, locations, items, creatures, etc).

In short, they should load quite a bit faster now, as well as put your images more front-and-center.

Here's a quick before-and-after:

Before–

After–

This design change intentionally puts more emphasis on spotlighting individual characters and making them feel more real rather than having a ton of characters in a long, bland list. I recognize it can result in more scrolling for people who have a ton of pages (like myself!), so there are also new ways to instantly filter your list down to just who you're looking for. For example, just type "Weasley" in the "Filter characters by name…" box at the top and you'll instantly see your list transform into just pages that have Weasley in the name. Give it a try! :)

Additionally, if you've uploaded any images for your characters/locations/items/creatures/etc, they'll be prominently displayed. You can also click on the image to "expand" the card and see a bit of a preview of the page without having to open it up (as well as what tags it has and when it was last updated). Here's an example – just click the X in the top-right to see the image again.

This design is modeled after the existing design for document pages, and still has a lot of improvements coming. As always, any and all feedback is much appreciated.

Happy worldbuilding!

This is great! One question: When we're viewing the little 'preview' of a character's profile, how do we control what kind of description is displayed? My characters' previews, for example, only show the tags and the time they were last updated
