-There should be more wakers than the main ones in the story, at least ten, at most fifteen. They should come up and become important later in the series. (confirmed)
-When the series begins, the Althaf army should have no idea why the Coat is randomly attacking places, and it should be revealed at an important diplomatic ball later, in which we have beautiful description of the main characters (changed but still want that ball)
- It should later be revealed that the coat is a waker, and the original one at that, and also he hand-selected the wakers himself, to prepare them to save the realm. In the end, he was still pretty evil but he had good intentions. His magic should only transport beings to a different realm and they remain trapped in their consciousness, meaning they're basically extended wakers. This also means that the Althaf army is actually murdering people by burying them. Sorry that as terrible writing I just had to get it down. (Changed)
- In chapter three edits, add more Laura’s thoughts on Dalvin
- Add a deeper connection, and give details about where + when they met (To do)
- Slip in some academic information (Bhavishalveuan) (to do, but at a later chapter)
- Unless you can’t, which is fine due to overcrowding <---
- Laura and Diana argument [RS]:
"I just wanna be a normal kid, walk down the corner to Gira's Pizza and laugh and drive my parents crazy."
Tears sprang to Laura's eyes and she shot back, "What, and be like every other non-commital Waker? Bhavishalveua is our home! I thought that's what we agreed. I thought that's where we belonged.""I know but–" (Complete)
-Meaningful life lesson sc:
"Without a dark room– this light has no purpose. But without the light, we would be lost. And with the room light on, everything looks the same, and the light in our hands is no more use to us then if it were no longer working. It's just a boring, regular old room."
- Laura piggy giggles when she laughs
- "Sometimes we have to take the wrong road to realize the one we were on was the right one."
- Add in 'That's not what you said Jodie,' sometimes when Laura is [running-drwtm] and have it make her laugh.
- Blythe knows about all of Quade's doubts about the Wakers, and this makes for a more enticing offer in front of Harlow for Quade to join Blythe, which causes minor mistrust between the two. [DODI]
- Also on the scene on the bus describe girl in more detail, tell how she’s analyzing Laura and Diana as if they were a project or a quiz, describe the book binding and cover in more detail. Then never bring it up until Laura takes out the book on a shelf of the doctor’s office and reads it to Dalvin, zoom out and pick up here in Coat POV in Epilogue, but end this chapter specifically with the nurse coming in telling Laura it’s time to leave, she gives Dalvin a kiss, she leaves. (to do)
Hehehehehehheehehehehehehehehehehehe I have already thought out some of the second book
- Second book- gathering the other Wakers, bringing back Diana (Possibly Seilla leverage for Quade/Laura?); slowly losing consciousness
- Coat's motivation:
- Girl on the bus is also power hungry (girl/woman)
- Created Wakers as an experiment
- Wanted to live multiple lives in order to live multiple lives in multiple universes for influence and longevity without damaging her mentality.
- Coat traced the case back to her and began attacking to drive her away from the realm, seeking to catch the Waker's attention and ask for their help
- Government kept Coat a secret when they found him, meaning no one knew and started running tests and becoming corrupt
- Coat revolted and disappeared to continue their research
- They took a different approach with the next batch
- The impact of both universes damaged the Coat, so girl/woman created the new batch of Wakers
The Coat's warriors are part empty shell, part people who also secretly don't agree with the government and the way they abuse their resources, so they target places with the highest concentration of resources+ Base Jump crystals (although they know nothing about that except for the fact that it's the Coat's orders)
- So basically the Wakers now want to bring back Diana and Seilla back
- They find particles of Base Jump crystals (in Laura's blood especially)
- They have the Coat transfer the mentality of Seilla and Diana, who come back extremely weak and mentally damaged from the weight of everything ceasing to exist and then coming back again all at once
- That's the Coat's safe space where he goes when he feels especially insane lol
- They realize that Earth will be too much for Di and Darling
- So then they have the Coat extract the Base Jump crystals with the aid ofd a magnet of sorts
- Laura's powers aren't really powers at all and are instead affects of the Base Jump shards.
- They go back to collect all the other part-Wakers.
- Possibly have someone enter a coma later in the series, especially an unwilling other Waker
- At some point have Jedrek join the assault Squad
