Chapter 3
* Laura's POV
* At school
*With Diana
* Reveals more about family
- this contributes to how normal her life really is, and shows the pull of the dream realm
* Reveals how hard it is to live in two realms
* Demonstrates more leadership skills
* More compelling side of Laura
* Reveals part of weaknesses
- things to make her less or a Mary-sue
Chapter 4
* Quade's POV
* Reveals more about the enemy
* Reveals more about the realm
- so basically what the heck this war is all about and where they are, exactly
* Quade still doesn't know what the back tentacles are called
- reoccurring comical theme
* Continue traveling
* No survivors
- absolutely devastated, contributes to Quade's future PTSD
*No supplies
* Decide to head back
* Are ambushed
- I want to have a more modern weaponized system that the enemy uses, like robots or something, come in here so we reflect some of the sci-fi aspect
Chapter 5
*Still Quade
* Ashur becomes injured
* Dalvin and search team rescue squad
* Harlow demonstrates her healing capabilities and we learn more about her and Quade's relationship
* Ashur recovers with one less eye
- this comes in later at his death and makes him be even more fiercely sarcastic
* Group is reminded of Seilla and the squad is forced to tell others about her death
- everyone is devastated, but Dalvin almost has an 'I-told-you-so' vibe about it, although he is extremely upset, this foreshadows to the past replacements they've had
* They head out
Chapter 6
* Start with Laura walking back from school
- L+D walk home together, detail where they live and their differences, as well as connections a little bit. (See Ideas document for argument)
*Laura is back
*We get to explore the concept of Base-Jumping as well as their HQ, we get a better look at why certain individuals fight and how they're equipped
- So basically, abetter look at all the outside details, make sure to use a lot of good description for this!
* Laura greets those returning
* Laura is informed about the ambush
* The ambush gives them an idea about where the enemy is
- not sure how I'm gonna do this yet, but I think I'm going to have to have them capture a robot or a part from something, or maybe have Blythe try and gain their trust by being like, "oooh look what I found, a piece of enemy's whatever that can totally help us aren't I smart and loyal!" Keep in mind, she has hardly any respect for the attack force and by extent Quade at this point.
*Laura and Quade discuss realms
* More of Laura and Dalvin's relationship becomes tense
Chapter 7
* Laura's POV still
* It's the weekend, so Laura only has short waking bursts, and we observe some more about how this affects her physically
- for example, waking is just like, sickening as usual but it's worse because it's more frequent
* Laura and Diana talk and argue, and more of their relationship is revealed
- This includes some foreshadowing about Diana's death
* An unintroduced (then) spy returns
* Laura and Dalvin speculate on what/who the enemy is
* Something goes wrong in the real world and Dalvin is awoken
Chapter 8
8 Quade's POV

* We explore his roots and why he has anxiety/how it affects him, and we foreshadow about his coming PTSD
* He reflects on Laura
* He goes to eat lunch and we learn more about everyone's relationships with one another and their personalities
* Quade and Harlow go back to his room to do some wedding planning
*Angst about Seilla
- this also references past members and how many replacements they've had, and Quade worries about Blythe
*Ends happy
* But then Laura screams
Chapter 9
* Oh man oh man Laura
* Is having a panic attack about Dalvin

* Inhales toxins and finds family dead (also they are a foster family)
* Cement block falls on him
Chapter 11
* Laura is awake
* Laura goes to church
* Laura is worried about Dalvin
- I want to build this up as tense as I possibly can. We're milking it people, we're milking it
*Laura likes kittens
* Laura reveals that she thinks of people in the other realm as hers
- In reality, they were supposed to be Diana's, but Diana also had a prophecy to fulfill so this is foreshadowing
* Wonders about destiny/fate
* Foreshadowing lyrics in the car
* Laura rushes to get to bed
* Sees fires on the news
* Runs away to look for Dalvin in our reality
- shows her lust for adventure and difference, as well as her faith and dedication towards Dalvin and the dream realm

* Chaos and confusion
* Diana and Ashur take charge
-Quade's admiration for both of them is expressed and explained
* Dalvin comes back
* Tells them what's going on (coma)
- reveals that he's had some waking spells, making him kind of un(stable/reliable) in the dream realm and also foreshadowing when he mentions his doctor's features (eyes)
* Diana asks him where he is and goes to find Laura
* Dalvin reveals to Quade and team that he's dying (shadows)
- Quade continues to wonder why everyone is always so trusting of him and it stresses him out, and he worries if this is too much for Blythe and decides to speculate on the whole thing (his emotions and Dalvin's injury) later with Harlow
- This foreshadows Coat's magic
* Diana returns, panicked
*Laura comes back
- So Diana doesn't have to worry for too long, although this contributes to Quade's feeling of helplessness

-This will come in later, when it is revealed that the Coat is Dalvin's doctor
* Laura is injured
* Forced to Base Jump
Chapter 14
* Quade's POV
* Diana reveals what she saw of the fight between Laura and the Coat
- this shakes up everyone, because Laura was their general, but also their friend and are confused as to if she knew or not and also that she has power in general, because it doesn't seem to be in her personality to carry all that
* Blythe Base Jumps with a bunch of people she saved
- This foreshadows what good a person she actually is and that she's being forced to do this against her will, but it also adds to her deviousness and later, Quade's anger
- But for now it makes Quade guilty and adds to his admiration for Blythe
* Quade and Blythe have a conversation that deepens their relationship
* Harlow is healing Laura
- I would like to add that at this point people begin to sort of speculate on Quade and Blythe, but are loyal to their friends so they say nothing, this also contributes to some bad blood later after her betrayal is revealed
* People are worried about Dalvin
* Confused on how the enemy found them
* Quade decides to tell Laura they need to learn how to travel realms
- It might be the only way to save Dalvin
Chapter 15
* Laura is sick and weak in real world
- the battle has affect her in real life as well as her current living conditions are not stellar
* Countinues her journey towards Dalvin
* Finds out she's being searched for
- She has walked all the way from her street to this point
* Details how much she forgot when she left
- basics, things like clothes and food and such. The only thing she brought was her journal
* Weather begins to act up
- This only lasts until a little bit later, before she has to get on the aeroplane
* Steals aeroplane ticket
* Tries to sleep at airport
* Finds she can't do so
- let's add the echo of the Coat's voice here so we know when this whole mess started
- also she's now dizzy

* Diana ushers the attack force back in and is informed on what happened
* As Diana is debriefing everyone about what's occurred, they are attacked
* They figure out that the enemy has hacked into their system and someone has betrayed them
* Blythe is the discovered perpetrator
- I would like to add some speculation by Diana before this about Blythe and Quade's relationship in general
* Laura comes back in the midst of battle
Chapter 19
* Laura's POV
* Laura leads her now prepared troops into battle
* The voice becomes worse
* Laura learns about the recent losses and about Quade
* Laura acesses her powers
* Foreshadowing

- We need to find a way to make sure that this is less Mary-suey than it sounds
Chapter 20
* Quade's POV
* Quade is curious about Laura's new powers
* Quade learns about Blythe
- he's unwilling to accept this at first due to the fact that he's spent so much time trying to figure her out, and now that he's completely wrong, it hits him hard because it feels as if he's failed
* He's concerned for Harlow
* Vengeful but hesitant towards harming Blythe, she must've been forced into it
* Quade and Laura go their separate ways
* Quade looks for Harlow, to find Blythe sneaking up on her
* Quade and Blythe face off
- This is some breaking point, tense, dramatic stuff here, be sure to show it!
Chapter 21
* Laura's POV
* Laura struggles with her newfound power
* She faces off against the Coat
* It is epic
- use lots of dramatic description here
* It looks like she might have the upper hand, she is using motivation
- "her" people motivate her the most
* Suddenly, the tide turns
* Diana sacrifices herself
* Laura wakes up
Chapter 22
* Laura's POV
* People on the plane are panicking because someone just dropped dead

* Laura returns to battlefield
* They are left to assess the damages done
* Quade tells Laura that they need to figure out the whole realm thing again, and Laura tells him she has some ideas about this, reveals her powers and details Diana's death
- car lyrics come back in this scene
* They are troubled over how the wakers are affect on Earth
* Laura says she needs to wake up
* Quade and Harlow enjoy their last scene together
- a burning battlefield, because why not?
Chapter 25
* Laura wakes up
* Laura buys some new clothes and food with money she found at the hideout
- abandoned building actually happens to have Base Jump crystals, which is foreshadowed
* She goes to see Dalvin and watches the doctors work on him
* One of the doctors tell her he's the only one of his family left

* She kisses him
Epilogue 1
