When a message needs to get to people in Eralon there are four main methods of sending said messages, outlined as follows:

- By Ground 

Assuming the sender and recipient are on the same continent over ground is the cheapest and second most popular way of getting messages across. Either a written or verbal message is passed to a messenger who then either takes off straight away if the message is going to a less populated area or waits for a set amount of messages to accumulate for a more populated area and then heads there to deliver them all at once.

- By Ship

If the sender and recipient are on different continents then the cheapest method of relaying messages is via a ship. More specifically a written or verbal message is passed to a messenger who waits for a set amount of messages to accumulate before boarding a ship to the destination continent and heads there to deliver the messages.

- By Air

Many creatures in Eralon can fly, from griffons and dragons to the more constantly humanoid races like demons and even some mixed breeds. While this method of getting messages across is more expensive it is also faster, both over land and over sea. As per usual a written or verbal message is passed to a messenger who waits for a set amount of messages to accumulate before taking themselves or their mount and flying to the destination to deliver the messages.

- By Sending

Magic is common in Eralon, but the farther a message must go the more powerful the magic must be. Magical sendings are pretty easy to come by, but the farther the message must go the more expensive the message will be unlike with other methods that charge a flat fee regardless. But this method is instant as opposed to taking hours, days or weeks as with others so many are willing to pay for the advantage of having the message delivered straight away.
