Not so normal banter EDIT!111!!!
In the heart of Smoke shore, in an apartment that echoed with the constant banter of two frenemies, Cade and Bridger navigated their complicated living situation. The small space witnessed a daily clash of egos, a dance between a typically stoic yet cocky and flirty guy named Cade and a grounded but egotistical, jerk named Bridger.

Their arrangement was shrouded in secrecy, the benefits they shared hidden behind closet doors. Yet, there was one observer who couldn't help but notice the peculiar dynamics between the two - their "adopted daughter", Cory.

Cory, a mischievous and annoying young kid, she was always ready to annoy Cade and Bridger. She often found herself caught between the amusing banter of Cade and Bridger.

One evening, as Cade and Bridger engaged in their usual verbal sparring, Cory sat in the corner with a knowing smile. It didn't take her long to figure out that there was more to their relationship than just friendship, and she decided to have a little fun with the situation.

"Hey, Cade," she chimed in innocently, "do you always gotta flirt with people you pretend to hate?"

Cade raised an eyebrow, shooting a quick nervous glance at Bridger. "What makes you think I'm flirting?"

Cory grinned, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Oh, I don't know, maybe it's all the gay ass things you say to him!"

Bridger, the egotistical one trying to maintain his know-it-all facade while becoming flustered, rolled his eyes. "Don't listen to him, Cade. He's just being a asshole."

But Cory wasn't easily deterred. "Oh shut up you two are like some shitty gay ass characters in a shitty gay ass fanfic."

Cade chuckled, a hint of embarrassment in his confident demeanor. "Maybe their not wrong maybe we should start writing our own love story." He flirted to hide his embarrassment at being caught.

Bridger shot him a glare, becoming more flustered with the direction the conversation was heading. "This is stupid. You too are so annoying." He shot back nervously.

Cory, becoming annoyed shot back. "Yeah ur one too talk both of you so annoying so insert"

The room fell into a momentary silence, the unspoken tension between Cade and Bridger hanging in the air. Cory, giggling and satisfied with her playful interference, decided to take their silence as a win.
