Part of the city is underground, taking advantage of the underground river and lake that helped found the city.

A big part of culture is wind chimes, dreamcatchers and suncatchers, often in some combination of those three.  they have a game where its a giant dreamcatcher, and you have to climb up to the top.  if you fall, you get trapped in the tails of the dreamcatcher, with are basically big 'ol waterslides-  you are a bad dream.  if you can climb through the net you are a good dream.  something like that.
