peter

CHAPTER 1: FOCUS:  Peter loved music. He just felt like it was in his soul. When music played, his body couldn't help but move. He had to dance. He loved it. His best friend Ace, didn't understand. He couldn't be bothered with dancing and listening to music. He had better things to do like read and study. Peter didn't care about school. His mother thought that was terrible. She told him this morning. "Peter, it's time you start caring about school! You're a senior now! A SENIOR! Don't you realize you can't graduate if you don't have good grades? Why can't you just be like Marissa?" His mother asked rhetorically. Peter sighed. "Peter?" Peter turned around. His mother pointed to his ears. Peter took out his air pods. "Thank you." His mother sighed. Peter grabbed his backpack and headed out the door. A short bus ride later, he was at school. The top school, the perfect school. 'District One High School'. He looked over at the giant wall in the distance. He had no idea what was on the other side, he just knew that he wasn't allowed over there. "Oh Pete!" A voice sang. Peter sighed again. It was Olive Jamesison, the most annoying girl in District One. He knew he had to treat her nicely, or else she would tell her father who was the Mayor. Peter turned around. "Hey. Olive." Peter said unenthusiastically. Olive rolled her eyes. "I only came to tell you that your girlfriend is crying in the hallway. You should probably check on her." Peter shrugged. "It was probably your fault." She gasped. "Um Peter, I'm not a bitch like Allannah". She defended herself. Peter sighed. "Yeah okay. See ya round Ollie."
