"Olive are you more of a hands-on learner?"
"What..?"
"Nothing."
"No- what did you just say? I know i heard something."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't act stupid, I sure as hell know you aren't considering the amount of books you read."
...
"You asked if I was a hands-on learner, what does that even mean?"
"Nothing. It doesn't mean anything."
"Alright, then give me a dictionary. I bet you wouldn't mind if I find the meaning of the word, since, according to you it means 'nothing'."
Olive began to walk in the direction of the nearest dictionary and picked it up, Butterscotch following behind and shaking Olive back and forth to attempt to get olive to drop the dictionary.
"No, Olive- Please- I said it as a joke-"
"I'll stop once you tell me what it means. More specifically how you used it."
"Olive you dumbass- no-"
"Alright then."
Olive flipped through the pages of the book, and lucky for them the definition was there.
"Hands-on learning is another term for experiential learning, where individuals immerse themselves in a subject to learn."
Butterscotch flushed a bright red color, not actually expecting Olive to find what it meant. But Olive was still somewhat clueless, the gears slowly turning in their head.
"..."
"WAAAIT- YOU WANNA KISS ME YOU NAUGHTY CREATURE-"
"OLIVE I TOLD YOU I SAID IT AS A JOKE-"
"NO YOU DID NOT-"
