Lucas made his way into town and to his job. He worked as a shopkeeper, he sells flowers, berries, plants, and other gardening tools. It was around 2:30 pm, Lucas was sweeping the porch of his shop. When he turned around he saw a cat trying to take some supplies. 

"Hey! Put that back!" He yelled. But before he could retrieve the stolen items, the cat ran away.

"Damn thieves," He muttered. Then continued sweeping.

The day was about over as Lucas closed the shop up. 

[Still got some snacks left for the twins.] He thought to himself. Lucas walked home on a dirt path, and suddenly he heard a noise in the distance. He froze, focusing on where the song came from. He turned in the direction of the noise and backed away slowly. Suddenly he's pulled into the bushes and held down. 

"Finally! I caught one!" A man shouted.

"Nice one!" Another man said.

Lucas struggled to get free. 

"You're gonna catch me a pretty penny," Man 1 said.

All of a sudden a loud crack is heard from the darkness. The two men stopped. One of the men pointed his gun towards the noise. 

"Come out pretty money," The man taunted.

Suddenly Lucas' crystal started to glow. From the distance, a ray of light fired directly at the man's head and killed him. The other man tried to run away but he too was killed.

Lucas was still tied up, now in fear of being killed by the person who killed the men. He tried to struggle free but the rope was too tight. Then footsteps are heard coming in his direction. Lucas feared the worse as a figure hovered above him. The figure bent down to untie him, and the moment they did, Lucas bolted behind some trees. Once he felt the cost was clear he ran all the way home.
