6 years later

Lucas picks berries from a bush when suddenly he picks up on a noise. He smiles and closes his eyes. 

"I see you," He said.

Then two fox cubs lunge after him. 

"Not so sneaky, are we?" Lucas laughed.

He picked up the twins in his arms and walked away with them.

In the distance, a lady sits under a tree with reading a book peacefully. Lucas smiled as announced himself.

"Hey ma, how's the book?" Lucas asked.

"It's nice dear, I see you wrangled up dinner." The mother; Lucy, joked.

The twins stopped struggling to get free and froze.

"Why yes, I found them trying to hunt me," Lucas said.

"But we weren't gonna eat you!" Cindy claimed.

"Well, maybe just a bite," Carter joked.

"Put me down!" Cindy's struggling finally set her free. She fell to the ground along with Carter.

"Nice going, Cin," Carter scolded.

"Like you could do any better," Cindy mocked.

"That's it!" Carter then got up and chased after Cindy.

Lucas walked closer to his mother.

"How ya' feeling ma, need anything?" He asked gently.

"I'm alright, you can attend to your siblings," Lucy said.

"You sure?" Lucas knew she needed something.

"Well, can you bring me back to the house?" Lucy asked.

"Of course ma," Lucas brought his mother inside the house.

Sometime later Lucas begins to walk out the door.

"Where are you, honey?" Lucy asked.

"Gotta get to work , I'll be back later,"

"Oh okay, be safe," Lucy demanded.

"I will ma," Lucas then walks out the door.
