Lucas walks through the dark forest as the moon shines bright. He sits and picks moon flowers when all of a sudden a rustle in the bushes is heard. Out of curiosity, he stands up and faces the noise.

"Hello?" He said into the thick bushes. "Is someone there?"

Then a little boy rolls out of the bushes, landing in front of Lucas' feet. 

"Hi," the boy looked up at Lucas.

Lucas stood in shock, as he have not seen a creature like him in the forest before. Sure there were likes of fairy-like creatures, but nothing like him. Lucas reaches his hand out to help the boy up. 

"Thanks," The boy said to Lucas. Has he got up Lucas inspected the boy. His hair was black with an unnatural bright blue color on the bottom, and his tail looked like an animal but he wasn't sure what type. He had horns but also a halo, and his eyes were bright blue and  purple. 

"What are you?" Lucas asked.

"I don't know, but all I know is that I need to get back home." His hand touched his head out of nervousness. 

"Where do you live?" 

"Up there," The boy pointed to the sky.

"You live in the sky?" 

"Mhm, well I live in the stars. I was born there, but I don't know how to get back."

"Well that's okay, do you wanna play with me?" Lucas tried to change the sad subject.

"Yes!" The boy's face lights up with excitement.

"My name's Lucas, Lucas Fields what's yours?" 

"My name's Zeke, it means shooting star. My daddy told me that!"

"So cool!" Lucas then grabbed Zeke's hand and pulled him to an open field to play.

The boys chased each other through the field when Lucas bumps into a wolf. 

"I'm sorry!" Lucas cried out, he then realized it was a wolf and prepared to start running.

The wolf slowly walked closer to Lucas and Zeke. Lucas backed away but Zeke stood in place. 

"Zeke, run he's gonna eat us!" Lucas cried.

But before the wolf could hurt Zeke, Zeke's eyes started to glow. Light filled the area of the forest as Zeke lifted the wolf off the ground and threw him into a tree. Out of fear the wolf ran away. 

"Woah," Lucas stood in shock. "You can do magic!?"

"What's magic?" Zeke said.

"What you just did!"

"Oh, you mean my powers?"

"DUH!"

"Can't you do that too?"

"No, I wasn't born with powers."

"Humans suck," Zeke proceeded to walk away.

"Hey, I am a Demi-human!" Lucas chased after him.

Time passes by as the boys talk.

"What else can your power do?" Lucas asked.

"I can make things," Zeke said.

"Oooh, make something."

Zeke looked around for something to make out of. He then closed his eye and turned hay into a doll, and gave it to Lucas.

"It's so pretty," Lucas liked the doll.

"Think of it as a symbol of our newfound friendship," Zeke proudly said.

Lucas ran up and hugged Zeke. But the moment didn't last forever. All of a sudden a loud bang is heard from a distance. 

"What was that!?" Zeke screamed.

"Hunters," Lucas then takes Zeke's hand and starts running. 

Behind them were men with large guns.

"This way!" A man yelled.

Their running came to a stop when they were in front of a cliff. 

"We need to get down there but how?" Lucas cried.

The men that were chasing them were catching up. Zeke then did what he had to do.

"It was nice getting to know you," Zeke said with a smile.

"What are you talking about?" Lucas was confused

"I hope we get to see each other again one day," Zeke then pushed Lucas off the cliff.

Lucas screamed in terror as he fell when suddenly he started glowing. Zeke was carefully lowering Lucas onto the ground when he heard movement behind him. Lucas landed on the ground safely, as he got up a tiny orb of light was still there. Suddenly a gunshot is heard from on top of the cliff. With Lucas horrified; tears began to roll down his face. The orb of light then fell to the ground crystalizing, Lucas picked up the crystal and cried while holding it.
