Death

**The information regarding death only applies to the future MUD version of my world. 

After The Fall of the Dragons and their transformation into immortal beings that are immune to death by natural causes there had to be a balance so in exchange the "intelligent" mortal races were made mostly immune to death by unnatural causes. This was an unforeseen side effect that no one saw coming except perhaps Rylum who is the goddess of nature and balance. 

Rylum took death into her portfolio. She records every death and the manner in which it happened and at a certain point true death occurs. True death is finicky and no one has solved the mystery as to when it occurs. True death could be your first death or your 1000th+ death.

Deities appearance to their followers 

The gods can and do appear as any gender or any race. It all depends on their mood or the situation. Generally speaking though most of them typically appear as something close to a human. Below are the common forms they present themselves to mortals. 

Arom - Presents himself as a tall and muscular human male with pale red hair and a neatly trimmed beard with golden skin.

Banach - Presents himself as a massive, thick bodied human with a deeply scarred face and leathery, olive colored skin with a permanent scowl and glowing red eyes.

Beln - Presents himself as a savage shaggy beast with great antlers sprouting from his head. Sometimes he stands upright or other times he is on all fours.

Dolorr - No one outside of his own faithful have seen him. Dolorr only appears to his followers and their description of him is always different. Even when multiple followers see Dolorr simultaneously they see something different. It is a pretty even split whether or not he presents as male or female with male getting the slight edge. 

Gard - Appears as a shadowy figure inside a suit of silver and gold armor.

Lock - Presents himself as a handsome golden haired human male with a charming smile.

Morsash - Appears as a thin, elderly human male with a cruel and deeply wrinkled face. He has also been known to appear as a shadowy wraith.

Rylum - Appears as a petite, green haired, female green elf. 

Selorna - Appears as any number of races but always female and always with a delicate silver crown on her head that radiates thin slivers of silver light.

Torrg - He was a human male in life and presents himself as such in his divine form. Tall and muscular with slightly hunched shoulders and a hint of sadness in his eyes. He wears dented and well worn armor.
