In contrast to demons, there are angels. These beings dwell in heaven, older than anything on Earth. Their souls are pure and full of life. They want life to flourish and keep the demons from killing them. The first group of angels Ira made had roles in making balance. The others that don’t have roles help in neighborhoods and fill the golden city. Angels have birthmarks, just like humans.
Angels have a leadership where two angels are selected to supervise heaven. These two are the supervisor and co-supervisor. The co-supervisor can overrule a supervisor's decision if in the best interest. They are to make sure things are calm and order is right. They deal with rebellions, conflicts, and decisions. Angels let the residents of Heaven do as they please, and let people take charge of their own issues. They’re there for guidance, for a society can’t function without leadership. They do hold meetings with the celestial council and decisions are made public. The council is also a check-in. When the leader wants to retire or step down, the co-supervisor takes over.
Angels who were once human get to relax in neighborhoods with loved ones. They can do as they please. The angels of death bring new souls to heaven, and two angels help put them in neighborhoods. These angels are Lucian and Sunny. Species that can become angels include: Witches, Werewolves, Mortal, Clairvoyant, and hybrids (Excluding demon hybrids)
Physically, angels look like humans. They come in all shapes, sizes, and races. They have (Mostly) natural hair and eye colors. Angels have white and gray wings. Their IQ is a little higher than humans. Angels are immortal beings and cannot die easily. Haiti’s knives can kill them, along with umbra blades and demonic weapons.
Interesting fact: When visited by an angel, ancestor or not, you can slip into a state of stasis.
You have to slip into a dream or vision-like state. You can’t stay awake. You have to fall into this state. If an angel does not appear to you in the earthly realm, you cannot remain awake. The dangerous part is that the longer you sleep, the slower your heart rate is; the slower your heart rate, the higher percent you could die.
