Demons are extremely powerful beings who dwell in hell, older than any being on Earth. Their souls are corrupt and broken, and their primary aim is to exterminate the angels. Haiti’s first group of demons have a role in making everything that is of hate and destruction.
Many others don’t have a role: they just wonder, serve under nobles (Like tortures), serve in the king’s palace, and be soldiers (the ones with roles are nobles). The biggest part of the demons is their hierarchy and royal bloodline.
Demons of Haiti’s bloodline have royal blood. Royal blood is dominant over normal demons and nobles. It’s a unique set of status and genes. It’s usually passed through generations that started with Haiti. This blood is powerful enough to turn a human into a demon. This bloodline is also noticeable by the navy blue eyes all royals have.
Demons with this unique blood are usually kings/queens. They are called archdemons. Their husband/wife is either a noble or a demon without status. There is a set rule that one without royal blood can’t rule. The noble husband/wife can become the regent if their child is too young. If the husband/wife to the king/queen still lives when the child is old enough to rule, they are stripped of their power and become a dowager king/queen. Most Dowager kings/queens are publicly executed in demon society. In most cases, both royal parents are dead when the child inherits the throne. Another alternative is the child killing this parent.
If the partner of the archdemon is a female, they’re the only female demon to bear children. Otherwise, it puts too much strain on the body. Two exclusions are the Fae and hellhounds. An heir will be crowned king or queen.
If none of the royal family is available to take over the throne, the second-highest demon next to the king will take over as ruler (Ender).
A common rule is they have to be 18 to take the throne. The imprinting of the prince/princess is very important. It calls for a party (A masquerade party). When the royal family is walking to the ceremonial area, demons bow. After the child is tucked away safely to sleep, their siblings and parents enjoy the party. They can join later. This happens when the child is 5, but there are exceptions.

King and Queen: The highest ruling entity. One’s an archdemon and the other a noble/higher demon or the noble/higher demon's child. Archdemons take the throne while their partner helps bear kids and decide. One of their duties is to imprint on souls to where their final destination is and imprint on which of their kids will be ruler and get wrath.
Princes and princesses: These are the kids of the king and queen. Usually next in line and forever waiting for a chance to rule. They are trained to fight and taught how to be a successful ruler.
Nobles: The nobles, also known as the aristocrats, are a class also known as higher demons. They are powerful and close to the royal family. They usually have high-ranking jobs and attend councils. Nobles and half children are also up there. Hellhounds also have nobility.
Demons: Demons are just demons. Normal powers and all over the land. Ruled by nobles and the royal family. They are also great guards, cooks, and maids.
Human-demon hybrids: Children of humans and demons are no new thing. It’s been happening for a long time. If the child is born of a noble demon, then the child shall be considered. These kids make great guards and soldiers. They are well-regarded when the child of a noble or even the king. Half-breeds from nobles have choices and are considered royal and aristocratic. They have a birthright unlike most.
Lower demons: Lower demons are the lowest of the low. They are not powerful and are belittled. They are treated without care and like soldiers. They are also used as maids, guards, and cooks. They force humans who are turned into demons to serve the king. They either join the army or work in the palace. The Fae and hellhounds are lower demons. Although, hellhounds have a different purpose than other lower demons (Dragging lost souls/contracted souls, guardians, and companions).
Humans reborn as demons: These fallen souls have committed the worst crimes (Usually pertaining to the sins of nobles). They're reborn as a demon with their physical looks based on their darkest times. Their eternal punishment is becoming what they could not escape. They can't be soldiers or guards, but can be maids, cooks, or inflict eternal punishment. (Note: This could also include fallen angels)

Demons use weapons made out of demon obsidian (A dark stone found only in Hell). It can be forged into any weapon and burns humans, witches, werewolves, and angels.
A demon’s diet is limited. They mostly eat human flesh and blood. Another exception is animal flesh and blood. Tearing apart a soul and destroying it is extra food.
Physically, demons have pointy ears, fangs, and horns. Their hair and eyes can be any color. They are lean and muscular. They are lanky with their BMI average between 18-22. Some look painfully gaunt, while others have an unnatural death look. Males stand at about 6 ft-7 ft and females stand at about 5’7-6’7. Royals have pure black wings and the rest have gray and black wings. Their average IQ is around 107-119, meaning they’re smart and manipulative tricksters. Demons are immortal creatures and cannot die easily, but there are ways to kill them. Although, they can shapeshift into anything.
Their major weaknesses are white magic and cold silver. It burns their skin terribly. Blessed items also burn their skin. The most dangerous weapon lives locked away, Haiti’s knife. It was forged to kill a supreme being; kills archdemons, archangels, normal demons, normal angels, and hellhounds. In death, their souls fade.
