Tri-lunar

It was the first night of the Tri-lunar. Everyone usually celebrates on these three nights so Cody was very excited to spend this time with Fae and Sam. Cody knew about the procedures on the nights of the Tri-lunar but they never thought that this would affect them directly. Every year on the three nights of the Tri-lunar all the known sociopaths, psychopaths, killers and, maniacs would be put in straight jackets and locked in empty rooms for the nights only. What Cody did not know is that Sam is one of these known killers. Sam is a sociopath. Cody would never be prepared and would never forget what happened those nights. The normal procedure was carried out every cities personal army would head to the homes of all these known killers. They would take these killers with them back to the Sanctuary. There, these people were to be put in straight jackets and locked in 10 x 10 empty, padded, white rooms from moonrise to moonset. Cody was not used to having a empty space in the bed but Fae and Cody huddled tightly and wished for the next morning.

Cody woke up in an unfamiliar room. Everything was dark and they were handcuffed to the chair. They felt the chilled air rising from the cement floor and the cold metal of the back of the chair pressed against their shoulder blades. Suddenly a dark figure moved towards them. This figure was taller than anyone they had seen before, roughly 7 foot. Cody heard a voice. It was cold and angered, it spoke in a monotone voice, “Well hello, doll,” Cody drew in a shaky breath, afraid of what the tall stranger might do. “Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you… For now. If you do our bidding.. we might let you live” Cody was too terrified to speak, they tried to say something but their mouth would not move. “ Your friend is quite nice, he helped me escape. Would you like to talk to him?” Cody tried to say yes but nothing happened. after a long pause the dark figure said, “What are you willing to do?” Even if they could, Cody had no idea how to respond.

Sam watched. They could see the fear in Cody’s eyes, he both loved and hated it. They turned to watch Fae on the second monitor. They’re blank expression turned into a crooked smile when they saw Fae. She was squirming, kicking, looking for a way out of her bondage. They knew she would soon exhaust herself. Once she was tired, she wouldn’t be able to fight back any longer. He signaled Lee.

Lee hesitated, "S-"

Sam cut him off, "Go talk to her. Now."

Lee looked at the monitors, "Only if you turn off the camera. I promise I won't do anything to her, you know me. And I'll know if you turn the camera on. Deal?" Sam sighed and considered. He flipped a switch and the monitor turned off.

Lee walked through the door with caution. "Fae, he can't see or hear us. Stop struggling. You have no clue what he'd do if you exhaust yourself."

"Who are you!? What am I doing here!? What are YOU doing here!?"

Lee walked over and sat down in front of Fae. "Listen, I don't want to hurt you. Sam probably just wants to fuck you once or twice.-"

Fae cut him off, "Sam..? He did this...?"

Lee froze. "You know Sam?" Fae nodded. "Who is he to you?"

Fae did not answer Lee, instead, asking her own question. "Aren't you that kid at school who's always following my boyfriend around like a fuckin puppy!?"

Lee didn't know how to answer her. I know I am but how could I admit that? We had kidnapped her, if she had this view on me, wouldn't that give her an upper hand? And how could she look down on me like that? She had never even talked to me. Fuck it. "So what? As I was saying, the only problem is I don't know if James would leave you alone." Fae looked down at Lee sitting in front of her. The boy in front of her looked as if he could not hurt a fly, still, she was wary of him. "I know. You're wondering how I got into this situation with Sam and James, huh?" Fae nodded. "Well... before they did stuff like this, I was best friends with the two of them..." Lee paused, "I was roped into this... as they got more violent, I just wanted to leave them but I was afraid they'd hurt me..." Fae tried to move her arm to comfort Lee but her bonds were too tight. "You have to promise you'll let me retie them when I leave"

"Okay but you never answered me, puppy dog, Sam is doing this?"

As Lee untied the ropes he thought about what to tell Fae. "Yes. You already know how I got into this mess. You don't need to know anymore." Fae did not like his answer but he was already doing so much for her so she did not push.
