Kana grew up in a poor village and thus, her only options in life where to become a mother or join the military. She chose the latter. Cowardly by nature, it was difficult to gain favor and trust amongst her peers but it was Fumi who saw Kana's potential. Kana is observant and was always first to discover clues about enemy territory and whereabouts as well as savory hunts on long skirmishes. It was due to this that Fumi trusted Kana most when Greyson went missing. Greyson was a friend of Kana's and wanted to help. She recalls very little of what happened before turning into a stone soldier.
