Tar sighed. She knew that she had to meet up with the others at the coffee shop but she just got here. 'Maybe I could handle being a bit late…No. I can't' She though, sighing as she headed out the door. She walked over to the coffee shop and walked in to see Aria, Scorpio, Ricky and Gremini already there. She took her earbuds out and walked over to them. "What's up?" She asked cracking a smile as she slid into the booth.
"hey guy's so sorry i'm late," Aqui said bursting through the doors and sliding to a stop by the table. " i had to close down the museum." squishing her way into the booth, "so what i miss?"
"Not much. Just some great theatre puns,"
Tapping his fingers against the car door, Leo watched as the buildings practically flew past him. He didn’t understand why the Zodiacs suddenly decided to meet up, but he wasn’t about to complain. He did miss them. Except, of course, Scorpio, Taurus and Capricorn. He just couldn’t stand those three.
Once the car stopped in front of the designated place, Leo paid the driver and walked out, fixing his hair and dusting himself off. He wanted to look good in front of the Zodiacs, especially since it had been a while since he last saw them. He walked inside and was greeted by them.
Although a few had yet to arrive, the table still looked packed. Gemini, Aquarius, Taurus, Aries… and Capricorn, Scorpio and Taurus. A scowl took over Leo’s features as he looked at the ones he disliked. It was an astrological sign thing. There were Zodiacs you liked and others you disliked to the core. Scorpio, Capricorn and Taurus were the ones he happened to not connect with. Still, Leo bit back his distaste and walked forward, a smile on his face.
“I see you’re all having fun without me,” he said, a disappointed look present on his features once he reached them. “Somehow, that upsets me.”
"Awww, Leo. Sorry," Gemini stood, clumsily pushing past the signs next to her. She stood on her tiptoes and hugged Leo. Gemini was one of the most affectionate signs, and had almost no sense of personal space.
"Good to see you,"
"Leo, were so glad you could make it." Aqui said gently.
When Leo sauntered into the room, Scorpio immediately fell silent and went to his cake. His nose was still wrinkled and his expression was angry. He didn’t like Leo one bit.
Leo grinned and hugged Gemini back. Gemini was one of the Zodiacs Leo got along very well. She was extremely affectionate, and Leo found her very adorable.
“It’s so good to see you guys!” He exclaimed, grinning at Aquarius as well to let her know he wasn’t ignoring her. “How long has it been?”
"too long," Aqui smiled back, then glanced at Scorpio who was very concentrated on his fork and plat of cake. she knew the two of them disliked each other, a lot, but she was unconpattable with some of the other signs and was still able to be friends with them. But Leo and Scorpio were like water and fire, and that went beyond the saying. she hoped they'd be able to get along for at least this night.
"Come sit with us," Gemini said, motioning for Leo to sit next to her and Aqui.
"Oh look! Leo finally showed up. What did you need to be fashionably late?" Tar said with a sneer. She loathed Leo. His bright sunshiny manner, his confidence, even his name. He made it seem like everything could be fixed or everything was alright.
"Tar! Gemini said, her voice a low growl. The message was clear, 'back off!'. Gemini usually liked Tar, but when she was around Leo, her snarky side came out.
Leo hissed, baring his teeth. God, all she needed to do was open her mouth and he wanted to shut it forever. He didn’t even hate Scorpio that much. Both of them just simply ignored each other and hardly ever argued. Taurus, on the other hand… her mere presence made Leo want to strangle something.
“Taurus,” he spat her name like it was poison. “I see your attitude still needs a little fixing. Why don’t you run along now and work on it before you try to socialize?”
"Leo." Aria's voice said in a comanding tone, breaking the slience she had been stuck in. "I know you don't like each other so consider this a work assignment, one where everyone has to get along." She says with a bite.
Gemini could feel the tension in the air, as tight as a stretched rubber band. She didn't like anger, and usually tried to diffuse it with humor, but now, she was at a loss for words. Anger put a damper on her passionate, energetic personality. She gently put a hand on Leo's arm, trying to calm him. She hated it when he got angry.
Leo stiffened when Gemini touched his arm. He suddenly felt bad at lashing out in front of Gemini of all the Zodiacs. Everyone knew she hated fighting, and he nearly started one in front of her. As much as he hated to admit it, Aries was right. He’d let her be right this time. They needed to act civilized, otherwise a fight would break loose and they would be kicked out.
Leo pushed away his anger and smiled at Gemini.
“No more fighting,” he promised her through a forced smile. Even he knew what big of a lie that was, but it’s the thought that counts, right? “Sagittarius isn’t here yet?”
Aqui watched the two argue nothing like a good old argument to remind you of the past and kick off the evening. this is why she avoided most emotions it was to difficult to deal with everyone, she had decided to treat everyone the same, and at times she could hate everyone or love everyone. and in desperate measures shut everyone out, it was less painful that way. so she didn't feel any sadness, anger or discomfort when Leo and Tar started going after each other it was just, life. she picked up her menu, even though she knew everything that was on it, and started reading.
Sage burst through the door, kicking it open with all her might when she heard her star sign being called by Leo. She was fuming, mumbling along with a cut lip and a couple bruises. "Sup fuckers. I was jumped on my way over here so let's just make this quick."
Pisces had walked back to the main table from the restrooms, and visibly flinched when he noticed Sage's presence. "Pfft, whatever." He rushed to brush off his bristling thoughts and joined the group.
"No, I guess not," Gemini responded, grateful that Leo had calmed down. Out of all the signs, he was one of her favorites. He was proud and feirce, like the lion symbol of his zodiac, shining golden like the sun.
Gemini flinched when Pisces walked in. He had always rubbed Gemini the wrong way, teasing her. He wasn't brave and feirce like Leo, he was violent and reckless. She was absolutely incompatible with him.
Sage, as usual, made an entrance, you always knew when sage was around. Aqui smiled fondly she'd missed sage, it was good to be around everyone again.
Aria slumped her head onto the table and groaned, this was all ready going terrible and she couldn't even follow her own fucking advice.
Leo furrowed his eyebrows.
“Right, I had nearly forgotten Sagittarius doesn’t have a filter in her mouth. I can’t believe I’m admitting that I actually missed that vulgar tongue of yours,” he commented brightly, taking a seat in the spot Gemini told him to sit, throwing one leg over the other.
Just then, Pisces walked in. Although Leo and Pisces didn’t dislike each other, they were different in many ways. Gemini didn’t get along with him the way she did with everyone else, but Leo was amazed at her ability to tolerate anyone around her.
“Well, nice to see you, too, Pisces,” Leo greeted him, albeit a bit sarcastically, the bright smile still plastered on his face.
Aqui saw Gemini tension when Pisces walked in, to be honest, she rather liked Pisces, she didn't have much of a problem with any of the signs, except Taurus and Scorpio, but Piece could really get under Gemini's skin, she could smell another fight about to break out.
"I'm sure your all wondering why we're here. There's a Total Lunar eclipse tonight, and I thought we could all watch it together. We all came to earth on an eclipse, I figured it would be nice." Gemini said, her sensitivity coming through.
