He nodded, “Okay, that sounds good.”
He nodded, “Okay, that sounds good.”
Aubrey grinned. "Great! We can go as soon as you're ready."
“Well, I’m ready now so… should we go?” He asked, a smile on his lips.
"Absolutely! The sooner we get going, the more stops we can hit," Aubrey declared, taking one last sip of her water before standing.
"Let me go put some shoes on, I'll be right back." He said, hurriedly walking to his room.
While she waited, Aubrey went to the kitchen and set her cup in the sink. She then went to grab her things from beside the door and waited there for Liam.
"Okay, I'm ready. Where to first?" He asked, opening the door for Aubrey.
"It's a surprise," Aubrey declared mysteriously as she made her way out. "You'll just have to wait and see!"
"I don't like surprises." He said, locking the door behind them.
Aubrey looked back and raised her eyebrows at Liam. "Oh? Is that something you remember, or just something you assume?" she questioned.
"Half and half." He said, a smile tugging at his lips.
"What does that mean?" Aubrey laughed, pulling her keys from her purse.
"Ah, so you get to be Miss Mysterious and I can't be?" He said, raising an eyebrow.
Aubrey shrugged. "I mean, if you were a woman you could be Miss Mysterious, but I think you would really be more of a Mister Mysterious," she teased as she unlocked her car.
He rolled his eyes, "You know what I meant."
Aubrey laughed and climbed into her seat. "C'mon, let's go!"
"Why can't you just tell me already?" He complained as they drove off.
"Because it's a surprise!" Aubrey exclaimed. "Just be patient!"
He sighed and lent his head on the back of the chair, "Fine."
Aubrey hummed quietly as they drove to the first place she was taking Liam. When they finally arrived, she parked the car in front of a small park. A few trees lined a path down the center of it, and benches were scattered around.
"Here's our first stop," she said softly, a smile tugging at the edges of her lips as she looked at the park.
"The park…" He said stepping out of the car and admiring the place.
"Yeah," Aubrey said, climbing out of the car. "You gonna come out?"
He rolled his eyes again and did the same
Aubrey shot him a grin. "Let's go sit over there," she said, pointing to a bench.
He followed and sat, trying to remember anything about this place, "Nothing is coming to mind…" He said, quietly.
