“Yes,” Breeze said with a slight hesitation. She had flown in planes before, but never like Ana was suggesting.
“Yes,” Breeze said with a slight hesitation. She had flown in planes before, but never like Ana was suggesting.
Ana puffed out her wings. Her gray feathers shivered with anticipation as they stretched out a good majority of Bree’s apartment.
“Get on.”
“Your back?” Breeze clarified watching the wings with awe.
Ana nodded. “Yes, my back.”
Her wings flawlessly covered a good area of her apartment, but they didn’t seem to be stretched out all the way; they were still bent at the joints.
Bree walked around the wings to get to Ana’s back. Her hand ran along the soft feathers as she clambered onto Ana’s back.
Ana scrunched up her wings and shimmied through the front door. This is when she really stretched them out with a flourish. They shimmered in the dawn light, giving off a gray aura.
Breeze was in awe at how pretty they were. She mever could have thought something so simple could be gorgeus.
(I am so sorry! I didn’t see the response!)
(That’s alright!)
Ana shook her head out. “Hold on. If you blow off, people will be able to see you.”
Breeze held onto the angel by wrapping her arms around Ana's neck and her legs around Ana's waist. She felt like she was getting a piggyback ride, "And I'll probably fall to my death."
“If you fall to your death, it’d raise a lot of controversy of how you fell out of the sky. I wouldn’t. Just hold on.” Ana beat her wings a couple times then shot up into the air quickly.
Breeze's grip tightened as she fought the urge to scream. Too high! Too fast! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Ana jolted up to the sky like a cork out of a champagne bottle. She paused suddenly, looking around.
“Where is this ‘school’?”
Breeze shakily pointed her hand in the direction of her class building. She took a deep breath to hide her shaky voice, "That way."
Ana nodded and shot off for the dot-shaped building, once again, without warning.
Breeze yelped as she held on for dear life. Her face buried against Ana's back.
Within a few moments, they were at their destination. Ana flew down quickly, flipped over and landed perfectly.
Breeze was still gripped tightly against Ana. Her eyes had instinctively closed. Had they landed yet?
Ana looked over her shoulder. “You can get off, now.”
Breeze opened her eyes and felt her face temperature rise, sign of embarrassment or…. She quickly got off Ana, "Heh sorry."
Ana fluttered her wings. “You’re welcome. It’s not a problem, no one seemed to have noticed us land.” She looked this way and that.
Breeze looked around, "Yeah. Weird. You would think a bunch of medical students would notice this type of thing."
Ana shrugged. “They must be rather tired not to notice. Well, let’s go, human.”
Breeze let out a slight sigh as she walked towards the building, "Don't call me 'human' here. You're one too at the moment."
Ana shook her head. “The others can’t see nor hear me. I’m yours to see, and yours to see only.”
