"In an apartment just a few blocks from here," Breeze responded keeping an eye on the creature, "It should be a short walk if you can handle it."
"In an apartment just a few blocks from here," Breeze responded keeping an eye on the creature, "It should be a short walk if you can handle it."
Anauren shifted so she had more weight on Breeze than her legs. She knew they’d heal by tomorrow, but for now she had to be careful.
“I’ll be able to handle it, Breeze,” she sneered.
Breeze felt the shift and started to slowly move towards her apartment, "Great. Then I could let go and you'd be fine?"
“What do you mean by that?” Anaured asked suddenly. “Let me walk by myself?”
"Yeah, I'd be nearby to lead you, but that would be it," Breeze didn't want the thing to hurt itself more. But if the thing could see how weak it really was, then maybe it would stop being so stubborn.
“No! That’d be ridiculous for me to try!” Anaured exclaimed angrily. Perhaps this human didn’t know what they were doing.
Breeze smirked slightly, "Then you'll be more willing to me helping you?"
Anaured scowled at the ground. “Yes. I’d be willing to allow you to help me recover.”
Breeze let out a slight giggle, "Great! Then let's go!"
Anaured rolled her eyes and started to hobble with Breeze’s pace. This human is certainly an odd one.
Breeze looked along the buildings and made a small exclamation as they reached her apartment, "And we're going right!"
Adauren shifted as they approached the apartments. “I suppose we are, then.” She frostily forced herself to agree with Breeze.
Breeze walked up to the door and reached into her pocket for the keys. Her fingers fumbled for a moment before grabbing a hold of them. She unlocked the door and let them in. She turned to close and lock the door behind her, "Hey, walk to the couch if you can. Use the walls if you have too."
Adaruen nodded and leaned off of her, stumbling drunkenly over to the couch, her wings flapping occasionally to keep her upright. She soon made it to the couch and plopped down with a faint groan.
Breeze had run into the bathroom to grab what medical supplies she kept in her apartment. She walked back to the couch and set in all on the end table. She looked at the creature, "So, what exactly are you?"
Adauren sat up slowly to face Breeze. “I was an Angel. Then I got kicked out, so now I’m a Fallen Angel.”
"Okay," Breeze thought for a second, "Wait does that mean your name is Angel?"
Anauren scowled. “Human ignorance. That’s the equivalent of me calling you Human instead of your name, just becaus of what you are.”
"Sorry!" Breeze responded with her hands slightly up. Breeze studied the angel's wings, "So what is your name?"
Anauren’s wings shivered angrily. She rose her nose before answering, “Anauren.”
"Nice to meet you Anauren, can I call you Ana?" Breeze asked reaching for her bandages, "Also what hurts exactly?"
Anauren shook herself out. “Call me whatever you want. Nothing that won’t be fixed later. I’ll be fine.”
"If that's the case then rest here until your better," Breeze responded putting her med kit away, "Then you can go wherever you Fallen Angels go."
Anadured scowled at the ground. “We don’t go anywhere. We basically have to start a new life down here. I’m actually quite glad I didn’t end up in Hell.”
"Why'd ya get kicked from heaven anyway?" Breeze asked Ana.
