Kaze yawned and blinked a few times. She gently stretched as she felt Ana move too.
Ana looked at her. “Mmmmorning.”
"Morning," Bree yawned and snuggled closer to Ana, "Though it's more like afternoon. I think."
Ana started the stroking of her hair. “Afternoon, then.” She laughed gently.
Bree chuckled, "It's after nooooooooon."
Ana nodded. “Afternoooooooooooon.”
"Sorry about earlier," Bree said with a slight shy in her voice.
Ana hummed softly. “That’s okay, Bree.”
Bree wanted to say it's not. It's been over a year she should be over it, but opted to say nothing.
Ana looked down at her, finding her silence mysterious.
“Everything okay?”
"I'm? Oh yeah. Just waking up that's all."
Ana grunted disbelievingly. “If you say so.”
"Sorry, it's just. Sometimes I get all mopey and then I don't," Kaze responded, "I don't have depression I swear."
Ana gave her a look. “That sounds like depression.”
"It's not, I know when and why I get mopey. It's not caused by a lack of chemicals in my brain, it's just me being sad."
Ana sighed and tightened her grip around her. “Mmmalright. If you say so…”
Bree smiled softly as she looked up at Ana, "I promise. Besides a little dose of sadness is good every once and a while."
Ana rolled her eyes. “You’re thinking of nostalgia. You seem pretty grief-wracked to me.”
"You can tell?" Breeze asked quietly.
“I am an Angel. I see it constantly.”
"Oh right… I would talk to you about it, but I'm not ready. Not yet."
Ana hummed. “Whenever you’re ready, I’ll be listening.”
Bree nodded, "Thank you for understanding."
Ana smiled. “It’s a pleasure.”
Bree snuggled against Ana, "We should get up at some point right?"
