Yeet!
Anauel shifted back away from the approaching human, her legs shaking under her. Her wings spread out threateningly, ready to attack them if they came too close. She hadn't been expecting to encounter a human so soon, yet here one was.
"Stay back!" Anauel managed to snap out at the human in a dry, cracked voice.
Breeze stopped in her track. She slowly raised her hands in the air, that was a universal sign for peace. Then again this, thing, in front of her didn't look exactly of this universe. She spoke in a calm quiet voice hoping to show that Breeze meant no harm to the thing. In fact the thing looked injured to her, "I just want to help."
Anauel's legs shook more as she held herself up. Her wings drooped lightly as black specks started to show clearly in the gray of her wing-joints.
"No!" Her voice snapped out suddenly. "I don't need help! I'm fine!"
Breeze's hand shot up closer to her. Despite her voice wanting to break, she kept her calm tone, "You don't ook fine. My name is Breeze, what's yours?"
Familiarity normally helped when someone was scared right?
Anauel brought her wings back up threateningly, too tired on her legs to shift back anymore.
"I am fine. And… It's a pleasure to meet you, but I don't need to tell you my name. I'm going to go, soon." She tried to stand, but her legs gave out and she collapsed onto the ground.
Breeze took a small step towards the creature. She couldn't hold the slight scoff in her voice this time, "How will go anywhere in your state? You can hardly stand."
Anauren stirred off the ground and onto a sitting position, trying to hold herself aloft. "Stay there!" She noticed the other had stepped towards her and snapped at her for it.
Breeze subtly rolled her eyes. She reached out a hand, a peace offering, "I really just want to help. Once you've been helped I'll get out of hair. So please?"
Anauren held her wings up. The wing-joints were totally black, and so was her hair.
"No! I'm fine! I can help myself!"
Breeze looked to the thing's wings. Then to their hair, "Your hair and, wings, are turning black. Did you know that?"
"Shut up!" Anauren roared. She didn't want to hear that. "I don't need to know that!"
Breeze flinched slightly. God they had a loud voice, "You kind of do! From my observations the blacker they get the weaker you get!"
"Shut up!" Anauren screeched at her. "Just go away! I'll deal with this on my own! I don't need your…" She felt herself fading as her voice grew louder.
Breeze flinched again and walked towards the creature, "You clearly can't! Your emotions are getting to you and making it worse!"
Anauren shuffled back from her, shaking her head to clear the mist. "No. I'm fine! Go away!" She returned to her shouty, angry state.
Breeze stopped moving seeing that it wasn't doing any good to the situation, "What will it take for you to be willing to allow me to help you."
Anauren shook her head. “Nothing! Just go away, I don’t need help!”
Breeze leaned back and crossed her arms, "And I won't leave until I help you."
Anauren fluffed out her wings in agitation. “Fine. What do you plan on doing with me in order to help me, Breeze?” She scowled and sneered at Breeze’s name when she said it.
Breeze opened her mouth let a sneer fall onto her face, "I am a med student. I am training to do this kind of thing in the future. So probably take you to my place so you can rest, and I can get a better look at you."
Anauren snarled angrily at Breeze. “Fine, since I’m just so injured, go ahead and take me under your wing!” Anauren tried to stand but stumbled.
Breeze ran-walked over to the creature and offered a hand to help them up, "Well I don't know that your so injured. Here, let me help."
Anuaren glared up at Breeze but took her hand anyway and hoisted herself up. “There. Fine. Where do you live?”
