Ana grinned. “Great. Have fun with that.”
Ana grinned. “Great. Have fun with that.”
"I will," Kaze huffed.
Ana relaxed into the bed again, her wings twitching.
“Oh, right, I said I wouldn’t sleep here.”
Bree laughed, "You did indeed say that. So have fun sleeping on the couch."
Ana scrambled off of the bed, taking the warmth with her. “I will. Have fun sleeping alone…”
"I will," Bree said in a snappish tone.
Ana rolled her eyes at the other’s tone and curled up onto the comfy couch, under the blanket Kaze had offered earlier.
Bree laid on the bed staring at the ceiling. Slightly hoping Ana would fall asleep quickly, because Bree knew she couldn't.
Ana wrapped herself up in her warm wings and half-closed her eyes in a gentle napping position.
Bree slowly got up and crept to the bedroom door, was Ana asleep yet?
She certainly seemed like she was. She was still and her breathing was slow.
Bree let out a soft sigh as she crept across the apartment to a locked room. Originally it had been a guest room, well the room of her roommate, but it had a different purpose now. Bree unlocked and opened the door before shutting and locking it behind her. Safe.
As Kaze crept by her, the other’s back turned to her, she opened her eyes. A door? Hmm…
Kaze flipped the light on and took a deep breath. She still couldn't bear to move anything in here, everything was still in it's place. From the band posters, to the messy papers on the floor. Hell to the scent of cinnamon Cicada had insisted she didn't smell like. Cicada… How many years had it been since you died? It felt like a lifetime ago the pair had been roommates. Breeze knew that her old partner in crime regretted nothing that had happened. Even when she died, bleeding out from a gun shot that had been fired by some crazy old guy. That girl had lived her life to the fullest, at least that's how Breeze wanted to remember her.
Ana gave a gentle grunt and shut her eyes. It technically isn’t my business. Maybe I’ll just do this to see how long it takes her to ask me back into the bed.
Bree sat down on Cicada's old bed and stared at the ceiling. She snickered at the glow in the dark stickers, Cicada had insisted on putting them up. Despite how silly it seemed. God her heart ached, they had been friends since middle school, and the other had been removed so quickly. Ana, Ana was great. Never could be the replacement, but someone Bree could trust. Not with this though, not yet.
Ana half-closed her eyes. Time for naps. Angels were the type to sleep sparingly, therefore it made her very tired upon occasionr.
Bree's eyes shut. This is what she did when she was bored. Enter her dead roommates room and just lay there. Reminiscing about old times. She felt like this was some deep secret, that no matter how she tried. Bree just couldn't move past it.
Ana dozed lightly, slowly relaxing into the couch and her warm wings, unaware of what Kaze was truly doing in that room…
(Skip?)
(Yeah.)
(To when?)
(Um, when Ana wakes up. Bree will still be holed up in the room. Probably crying.)
(Hmmm but Ana wouldn’t be able to do anything.)
(…Good point. I think there would be a spare key somewhere in the apartment that Ana could grab.)
(How would she know about it?)
