Thelisi gave a squeal of joy. “Weaf! Weaf!”
Thelisi gave a squeal of joy. “Weaf! Weaf!”
"Love on the thing." Elise raised an eyebrow.
Havenwood gave her a look over his shoulder. “What?”
"I believe our son intends to engage a leaf." Elise grinned.
Havenwood gave a gentle laugh. “It’d be a wonderful marrige.”
"Just not quite as good as ours." She nudged him playfully.
Havenwood laughed gently. “Indeed.”
“When are we getting married, anyway?” Elise looked up at him.
Havenwood lead her off of the bridge. “Whenever you’d like.”
“How about…next week?”
“Next week?” He grinned. “Sure! We can do that.”
“Good.” She took his hand, smiling.
Havenwood squeezed her and continued walking. “You need to get a dress.”
"Mm, I do." Elise tilted her head. "I could probably get one in the city, they have really nice ones there. Could I go back?"
Havenwood hummed. “You could. Or you can have a God make it.”
"Honestly, I'd rather get one from the city. Trust me, when it comes to dresses, New York is the place." She looks up at him.
Havenwood raised an eyebrow. “But you don’t want one God made?”
“Well, what would it be like then? I still think New York is better….”
“It would be soft and floaty… mmm… it’d be awesome, I think you should haven't God-made.”
Elise shrugs. “Okay, but it has to have some New York things added in.”
Havenwood laughed gently. “I’m sure they won’t mind.”
"Good." She brightened.
Havenwood patted her head. “Anything for my Elise.”
"And anything for my Havenwood." She smiled, reaching up to pat his.
Havenwood pecked her cheek. “Love you.”
