" yup just gotta go!" She jumped up and went to the bathroom. She came back a few minutes later and crawled over Jonathan. She eventually gave up trying to get over him and not crush Edgar by just laying on Jonathan. " Mmm.."

Jonathan nodded, relieved that nothing was wrong. When Kera came back, he tried his best to accommodate her attempt to return to her spot, even though it didn’t work out that well.

Her decision to just lay on him surprised him, and his cheeks flushed, an embarrassed chuckle escaping him. He had no idea how to react, particularly in regard to the fact that he was actually quite comfortable.

Kera lifted up a bit and kissed Jonathan like she did the first time. She let her hands slide up to brace herself up. Though she held herself up, her arms had started to shake.

The kiss surprised him once again, but he couldn’t resist, kissing her back with the same neediness as the first time. It took him a moment to notice her shaking arms, and he wondered why they were shaking. Was it just the way her arms were resting? Exhaustion? Emotions? Something else?

Jonathan wrapped an arm around her, gently rubbing her back in case something was bothering her.

Edgar stirred and decided to return to his cage since Kera had moved from her original spot. He fiddled around a moment, then found a perch and dozed off again.

Kera held onto the kiss for a bit, finally pulling back when he wrapped an arm around her " sorry, not much upper body strength" she said softly

Jonathan enjoyed every moment of their kiss, then gazed up at Kera, relieved that it was such a simple explanation.

“It’s alright. I definitely understand that,”he replied, just as softly.

He pondered what to do next, and quickly fell into a pit of indecision.

Kera was waiting for him to make the next decision." so.. what are you wanting to do"

“Fuck. How did I know ya were going to ask that?”Jonathan said with an embarrassed chuckle.

“I… um… Honestly, I don’t know.”

Though, Jonathan quickly realized that his words were becoming a lie. He couldn’t help glancing at her lips a few times. Fuck, he was becoming addicted to the sensation of their kisses, and they had only kissed three times. Three times. So many, and yet so few.

Kera couldn't help but give a soft smile when she noticed his gaze the last time. She leaned into him, kissing him softly an biting his lower lip after she broke away after a good minute.

(I’m not sure if I read that last little snippet right, but hell with it)

Jonathan knew he was caught when she smiled at him, but he didn’t really care. He savored this kiss just as much as the others, even with the mildly surprising and outright enticing bite.

When Kera broke away, Jonathan stared at her a moment, indecisive once again. Though, as he continued to stare, particularly gazing into her beautiful snowy blue eyes, Jonathan finally got the courage to push aside his nervousness and indecision.

He reached up with his free hand to cradle Kera’s cheek, and lifted up to give her a deep, passionate kiss. The arm on her back moved to wrap around her, tenderly holding her as well as somewhat supporting Jonathan.

Kera kissed him with just as much curiosity as his neediness. Even though she'd been in a relationship before with keigo, they'd never had much more time then a kiss like the ones before. She knew she was treading on ice but didn't know how thick it was to skate on.

Jonathan was truly relieved by Kera’s accepting reaction, and intrigued by her curiosity. He held their kiss for a long time, finally breaking away to catch his breath, which was a rather difficult thing to do.

He then stared at Kera shyly, though, on the inside, it seemed to Jonathan like he had drank several cups of coffee in one sitting from the amount of energy he had. Last time he had been this energetic was when he had discovered Big Bitch, and it had been years since the time before that.

As he stared, the ever-nagging thoughts of what everyone else, particularly Keigo, would think started to rise. Jonathan quickly shut those thoughts down before they overwhelmed him, simply staring into Kera’s gorgeous eyes, still breathless, and wondering what she would do.

Keras chest burned from the rush, trying her hardest to keep her giddy feelings down. " S..sorry.." she mumbled. Kera chuckled, her soft smile staying on her lips " I'm just saying the obvious here but I wanna be with you. I deal with keigo and I'm sure you could handle Amelia. I seriously don't think I could be away from you, not being able to be held in your arms. It's like I'm constantly on a live current when I'm tangled with you."

Jonathan shook his head a bit,”No… no need to apologize.”

He smiled back at her, then snickered at her words, a light blush on his cheeks.

“I know the feeling, to a fucking word,”he replied softly, chuckling.

He hummed, trying to think of the best way to approach Amelia and Keigo. After a breif moment, he decided to think on it later.

“I don’t know what’ll happen regarding Keigo and Amelia, but… just don’t scare the shit out of Keigo like ya were. That’s what started this whole shit show, and it’s too much of a reminder of Max for anyone else, particularly Amelia, to tolerate. Please?”Jonathan asked.

" I won't. And I didn't mean to come off scary, I just wanted answers before he shut me out again. " Kera put her forehead on Jonathan's " is it okay.. if I say I love you.." she asked quietly

“Alright. Thank ya,”he replied.

He smiled a bit as she rested her forehead on his, then chuckled at her question, his mind instantly whirling. This was the first time anyone had told him they loved him in this sort of romantic context. All of his previous relationships, the few he had ever known, had ended long before this stage.

“It’s fine. Honestly, it’s fucking breathtaking,”he said, a bit teary eyed.

“I’m such a fucking sap. ‘Look at me, the hopeless romantic!’”he commented, laughing helplessly.

Kera laughed as well, wrapping her arms around his neck " then how's this.. I love you Jonathan " she said the last part sweetly

Jonathan snickered at her words, a few tears trailing down his face. He rolled his eyes at the fact that he was crying.

“I’m a fucking sap,”he said, chuckling.

He wrapped his arms around her, reaching up to give her a warm kiss. He then gazed at her with a thoughtful smile.

“I love you, Kera,”he said sincerely.

" I like your sappyness, it's very heartwarming.." she said softly an kissed him back. " Note to self, never watch a soap around you.."

“I’m glad ya think so,”he said, smiling warmly and chuckling.

He then laughed at her comment.

“Fuck… Here comes the withdrawal. What am I going to do now? Oh no!”Jonathan joked, still laughing.

Kera laughed as well " then let me be your high" she said softly and kissed him as well as nipping at his lip. She moved herself a little closer to him.

Jonathan snickered, kissing her back. His breath hitched at her nip and his arms gently tightened around her. One hand started rubbing up and down her back.

Hell, he was already high off of Kera, and that was from the moment she surprised him with that first kiss.

Kera smiled softly at his grip tightening and him rubbing her back. She pulled away from the kiss and laid a few kisses on his neck.

When Kera kissed his neck, Jonathan couldn’t resist a soft moan. He tilted his head, exposing more of his neck.

A detail suddenly popped in his head and Jonathan almost reflexively grabbed a small blanket set next to Edgar’s cage and haphazardly tossed it, covering the cage with clearly practiced aim. A drowsy chirp replied, but nothing more.

Afterward, Jonathan’s hand returned to rubbing Kera’s back, and he added a gentle swirling motion to his hand as it moved. The fingers of his other hand started to draw little circles.

Kera sat back, having left a small mark barely visible. It wouldn't be noticable unless you knew what you were looking for. She chuckled at his sound " did that feel nice?" She asked just above a whisper.
