Amelia didn’t deny that she wouldn’t be trusting Kera anytime soon, but her next words confused her a bit. Had the two been friends as kids?
She started to speak when Kera whimpered. Amelia straightened in surprise, watching everything.
Jonathan glanced at Kera with a slightly raised eyebrow. He knew she liked him, but he hadn’t really understood how attached she was to him. Had she truly missed him that much?
The question flew from his mind when Kera whimpered and he turned fully to gaze at her with concern. Jonathan looked at Keigo, listening to his words in mild confusion. ‘Again’?
“Um… wherever is easiest. Considering, that would probably be my bed. Ya want me to fetch Boris?”he asked to whoever would reply. He was a bit flustered by all of this.
" no, she just needs to lay down. her migraines get worse the more tired she gets. " keigo had explained " i know that the bullet damage doesn't help but her laying down will."
kera was glad when she finaly got laid down, curling up into her little ball and trying to relax.
keigo grabbed amelias hand and walked away, not wanting to disturb either of them " com'on, leave them be, love" he said softly to amelia
Jonathan nodded at Keigo’s explanation, then sat down in his chair. His mind was whirling, even more so now than it already had been. He glanced at Kera, wondering when these migraines had started, and why. He then looked at his computer, unsure what to do.
Amelia willingly walked with Keigo, smiling a bit at his hand. She was silent a moment, then sighed softly.
“Well, this whole situation took a rather confusing turn,”she commented quietly, loud enough for only Keigo to hear. She shook her head, bewildered.
" yeah," keigo said softly
Keea watched Johnathan half asleep. " Would it be weird if I cuddled you?" She asked after his door was shut
Amelia shook her head again.
“I never, never, would have thought they had known each other,”she mumbled.
Jonathan looked at her, blushing a bit.
“Um… I… I don’t know,”he replied.
He scratched the back of his head, then moved to sit down next to Kera. His blush remained.
Kera pulled the blanket up, scooting over to make room for him. Her face had grown a bit darker when she looked away.
Jonathan chuckled a bit in embarrassment, then laid down. His cheeks were an even brighter red than before.
Edgar abruptly came out of his cage and sat down on the pillow between the two. He looked back and forth at them, seeming displeased. Jonathan couldn’t help snickering.
“Protective and probably a bit jealous. That’s fucking funny. You’re alright, Edgar, I haven’t forgotten about ya,”Jonathan said, petting the bird.
Edgar seemed to calm down a bit at that.
Kera smiled and held her hand out for Edgar " think you can share tonight? " She asked and smiled softly. Her blush stood out against her eyes.
Edgar inspected her a moment, then gently nibbled her finger. Afterward, he moved to the top of the pillow and curled up.
Jonathan smiled at Edgar, then noticed her blush. Beautiful contrast. His cheeks grew brighter at that thought.
Kera smiled at Johnathan, moving up a bit and kissing him. She loved the little sparks that would ignite between her and the other when they touched.
Her kiss surprised him again, but he didn’t freeze this time. Instead, he savored it a moment before tenderly kissing her back.
Fuck, he had never been kissed like this. Sure, he wasn’t necessarily new to kissing, but there had never been any weight in them before, no feeling. This… this was so different, and absolutely intoxicating.
Kera pulled back, nuzzling into his chest and letting out a soft breath. She wrapped her arms around him. She didn't say anything as her cheeks felt like she was burning up.
Jonathan didn’t object as Kera nuzzled into him, then put her arms around him. His cheeks were scalding and his heart was racing, but he actually found her hold rather comforting.
After a bit, he wrapped his arms around Kera. Though he was tempted to say something, he kept silent. He had no idea what to say, and he also didn’t want to ruin the moment.
Kera could feel his want to say something " am I doing something wrong?"
Jonathan blinked, somewhat surprised by her comment. He then shook his head a bit, rubbing her back to reassure her.
“No, you’re alright. I tend to comment on things. I just don’t know what would be a good comment, or if one is even necessary,”he explained with a shrug.
" I just thought you weren't okay with something.." she said and yawned softly. " Your so warm..it's honestly helping my headache.."
Jonathan shook his head again.
“I’m fine with this. Not used to it, but fine with it,”he replied.
He then chuckled at her comment.
“I’m glad I can help with your headache,”he said, smiling softly.
Kera smiled and snuggled closer to him, her fingers traced his chest
Jonathan gently held her. He closed his eyes as her fingers moved across him, his heart pounding in his ears. He did his best to keep his breathing calm, but it was a bit heavier than before.
Kera could practically feel his heart beat, her hand laid flat over his heart and she stoped tracing his chest. Her snow blue eyes looked upwards a bit at him
Jonathan paused, his amber eyes opening and his breath becoming a bit heavier for a second, when she laid her hand on his chest. He stared ahead in deep thought, unaware of Kera’s gaze. After a few moments, he closed his eyes again, the tension in his body steadily melting away.
Kera yawned softly. She had gotten so tired to were her body had given up it's fight to not sleep. She eventually passed out, looking honestly quite peaceful
Jonathan glanced at Kera when she yawned, smiling a bit. A few minutes later, he yawned as well, then fell asleep with her. He was considerably more relaxed than he had been in a long while.
Edgar drifted closer to them as they slept, sucking up to their warmth.
Kera woke a few hours later, knowing it was a good bit around eleven. She tried to move out of Jonathan's arms really needing the bathroom. " Hey.. hey! Jonathan!!" She whined loudly.
Jonathan woke to her calls and unraveled from her, his drowsy eyes gazing at her with concern.
“Everything alright?”he asked, mumbling a bit.
