"So, what do you major in Leon? Mikhail and I are both going through coding classes. Mine's sooooo hard." Adrien wasn't whining? He didn't know what anyone was thinking, but he really wasn't. He was just… complaining the way tiny babies did?
(a.k.a. whining like little bitches)
"Oh-um-I take Photography." Leon answered after a few moments. Mikhail glanced at him and smiled slightly, his face slowly starting to return to it's original color.
(Yep. Adrien can take his fair share of pain but give him one hard class and he becomes a little baby bitch.)
"Cool! Are you any good?" Adrien realized that might be offensive, so he quickly added. "Not that I care or anything! I'm not trying to be rude, I swear."
(lololol, yessssssssss. That's me but I don't whine that much)
Leon chuckled. "Yes, I think I'm okay. But all of my photos usually look good after I edit them on Photoshop or something." He answered, a small smile on his face.
(I'm the opposite. I don't really care about classes but give me the tiniest smack and I break down like a toddler)
Adrien shrugged. "As long as they turn out interesting, do the methods really matter? Art's about interesting visuals, right?" He snuggled further into Mikhail. Having a boyfriend was so nice. Why hadn't he done this before? Oh right. Death around every corner. Yeah. Well, that was sobering.
(that's my cousin and mom)
Mikhail blushed even more furiously as he casually tried to hide his face, even though he knew he was probably failing. Leon shrugged. "I guess, it depends on the person."
(:D)
Adrien smiled. "Yeah. Aesthetics are kind of important, I guess. Can I see some of your pictures? If it's not too much trouble?" He turned over on his back and noticed Mikhail was blushing. Did he do that? Damn. That was flattering and also completely adorable.
(lol)
"Oh-um-sure." Leon said awkwardly, heading off to his room to get his camera. Mikhail didn't realize Adrien saw him blushing and kept trying to hide his face.
Once Leon was out of the room, Adrien peeled Mikhail's hand off his face and kissed him lightly on the cheek. "You're very cute. Like… really, really cute."
Mikhail stared at him for a few seconds and felt his ears go pink. "Oh-I-um-thank you?" He stuttered out, looking around awkwardly.
Adrien cooed a little and snuck a kiss onto Mikhail's lips. "Don't thank me for telling the truth. You deserve all the compliments I can hand out."
Mikhail smiled slightly at the kiss but kept blushing furiously. "No, I really don't. Trust me." He mumbled, still looking around everywhere but at Adrien since he was too shy.
"Well I'm your boyfriend and I say you do. Believe me." Adrien replied. Mikhail deserved to be happy, there was no doubt in his mind about it. Fuck anyone who disagreed.
Mikhail's lips twitched into a small smile for a second. "But I let my parents die, I wasn't able to save them." He mumbled quietly, staring at the couch. He still felt very guilty about that, he had always thought of himself as a waste of space and time.
Adrien felt his eyes widen in shock. How did he even respond to that!? "How did they die?" He curled himself into Mikhail, wrapping him up in a hug. "Shit! Was that insensitive? You don't have to answer if you don't want to."
"It wasn't insensitive at all. They were murdered in front of me and I was raised by my uncle who hated me…" Mikhail muttered, the blush on his face long gone.
Adrien petted Mikhail on the head softly, trying to comfort him. "Baby, I know that's really tragic and horrendous, but it wasn't your fault. How could you have stopped it?"
"I-I don't know. I could have something else and might have been able to save them." Mikhail mumbled, not looking up at Adrien when he petted his head. "Okay, we should probably stop talking about that," He muttered, glancing at Adrien and smiling slightly at him.
Adrien kissed Mikhail lightly on the head, stroking a hand up and down his boyfriend's back. "It's not your fault, Mikhail. It's the person who killed them's fault. They're the one who killed your parents, not you."
Mikhail shrugged slightly. "I guess so." He said, trying to think of thinks he could talk about to change the subject. Just then, Leon peeped his head outside to see if he should come in or not and decided against it, so he went back in his room a small smirk on his face.
"Okay." Adrien smiled at Mikhail. His poor boyfriend probably wanted to change the subject. "Let's talk about something else." But what was there to talk about? Cats? Ice cream flavors? Books? "Uh… dream date. Go."
"Wait what? Oh-ummmm-I don't know, a concert? or an escape room or something like that." Mikhail spluttered out. He was glad Adrien had changed the subject and sighed quietly.
"Oh, escape rooms sound like fun! Those are the ones where you have to solve all the puzzles to unlock the door, right?" Adrien had managed to curl up in Mikhail's lap like a content cat. An escape room would be a pretty cool date. Maybe they could try to go to one later.
"Yep, I've wanted to do an escape room for the longest time." Mikhail replied, blushing slightly when Adrien curled up in his lap.
"They seem really fun! I'd do one but they kind of scare me. Just… the idea of getting suck in a room without being able to quickly leave freaks me out." Adrien shrugged, pushing down the knot of nerves in his stomach. He hated getting stuck in places because his brain always made him think he was on the verge of an attack and would totally die if he didn't get out asap.
