I'm on. Is anyone else.
(Yeah, I changed it.)
I'm on.
Im here
(Well anyway I'll post a starter)
Elijah rubbed his eyes blearily, starting to sit up. His head pounded, his heart raced, and he altogether felt like crap. It took him a moment to realize he wasn't in his bedroom. He quickly scrambled away from the other people passed out around him. "What the hell?"
They were on the edge of a city, or what looked like one. It was quiet, and smelled like rust. Some of the buildings looked to be crumbling.
Corey opened his eyes nonchalantly, coming to his senses immediately. It became obvious he wasn't home. So where was he. He sat up, and caught sight of a frightened-looking person.
"Who the Hell are you?" He asked. Checking his surroundings out. He was at the edge of a wicked-looking city.
Cato woke up slowly. He heard people. He calmly sat up. He normally fell asleep in strange places. He was used to it. He barely ever got enough sleep at home, so… then he saw where he was. He rarely left the downtown of his city. How was he on the outskirts of another, much worse-looking? Then he caught sight of another two people. They both looked frightened. It didn't appear that they had caught sight of him yet. He sat and listened.
"I'm gonna check things out." Corey said, getting up, and walking around. He nearly stepped on someone else.
"Sunnova." He called, looking at a confused-seeming person. One who'd just woken up it seemed.
Leo woke up out of nowhere and realized he wasn't in the comfort of his bed. He saw three guys awake and was getting seriously confused. "Why the fuck am I here?" Leo asked no one in particular. He just went to sleep one night and awoke here. He didn't have any grudges so had no clue.
"I think we're all asking that question." Corey said to the next newly woken one.
Leo got up from his spot and brushed off the dirt on his pants. "Well, there's a door." He said while walking over and jerking the handle roughly, seeing that it was locked. Next to it, was a note on the floor. He opened it and saw an address. "I think we have to go here." He said to everyone while holding up the letter.
Cato stood up. "That would be reasonable." He said softly, "But may I have a look at that paper please?" He held out his hand.
Corey glances at the paper from over the kid's shoulder.
"Hmh." He scowls, not at anyone in particular.
Leo hands the paper to him and walked around the room while looking for a key.
(Wait… guys…. where did the room come from?? Sorry if I didn't make it clear, but they're outside. That's why they're able to see the city. It was also kinda implied that they each had their own letter. Again, I'm really sorry if I didn't make this clear)
I was wondering where the room came from. So I ignored it.
(I pretty much just rolled with it. I would like to think they’re in a room with two doors, one to the outside away from the city [that ones locked] and one into the city. Does that work okay?)
(I mean… I guess we could go with it if you guys really want? It's just that the five of them waking up outside was kind of part of the plot)
(Sorry. We could also switch it back to outside and just say that he was trying to open the door of the nearest building?)
(I guess so. I just find it kind of weird that none of them are freaked out/trying to figure out who the others are and that they're immediately trusting the letters)
Elijah felt his breath quicken. "Wh- Who are you people? Where am I?" He doubted he managed to keep his panic away from his expression or voice.
Cato noticed a boy with messy brown hair begin to panic. (Elijah) Cato understood panic attacks. He knew how scary this situation might be. He sat down next to him. “Look. It’ll be alright. We don’t know where we are, but we’ll all figure this out together. Cato held his hand out, “My name’s Cato. What’s yours?”
(I dunno how to jump in…)
(They're all just waking up at the moment, so just have him wake up and go from there)
"Elijah," he said weakly, not bothering to shake the hand of the stranger- Cato. These people could be lying to him, for all he knew. "How did we get here?"
Cato knew the guy probably thought he was possibly lying. But he just sighed, knowing there was nothing he could do about it and dropped his hand. He flopped backwards onto the grass. “To be honest, I have no idea.” Cato put the price of paper with the address on it in front of his face. He then realized that there was more paper in the envelope. He pulled it out. “What’s this?”
Antoine slowly opens his eyes, groaning a little bit as he does so. His head hurt and he wasn't sure what was going on. He runs a hand through his hair before looking around a little, his fingertips hesitating when he felt his eye patch. There were others around him, but he didn't dare move a muscle. He was never good with people.
