“What?” Blue asked, startled by the male’s defensiveness, then realized he was still made of cloth, but didn’t want to risk shifting with the invaders still everywhere, “Wait! It’s me, Blue!” He shouted over the carnage.
“What?” Blue asked, startled by the male’s defensiveness, then realized he was still made of cloth, but didn’t want to risk shifting with the invaders still everywhere, “Wait! It’s me, Blue!” He shouted over the carnage.
Alexander looks up, his eyes widening. "Blue?! I thought i told you to run." He gasps, feeling a small burst of energy. He stands, but stumbles slightly. He grunts, nearly falling again. "I thought you… where's Izzy?" he asks, extremely concerned.
"Close your eyes!" The angel commanded again.
Alexander raises his hand. "Wait! Blue's a friend!" he cries. He walks towards the other. "Are you alright?"
“Izzy? Was that the lady that appeared out of no where? I told her to hide,” Blue responded, throwing water back at an enemy solider that got to close to him.
"Do you want me to take care of these invaders or not?" The angel asks, his eyes starting to bleed from containing so much essence.
Alexander raises his hand. "Wait! Blue's a friend!" he cries. He walks towards the other. "Are you alright?"
“I’m okay,” The confidence in Blue’s voice was sheer adrenaline speaking. Just as long as he didn’t look at the bodies… Blue shuddered, and in his scotch form it only looked like a small breeze, “I’ll have a lot of bruises. Are you okay?”
Alexander nods, his body trembling. Izzy… Izzy… his only friend in this horrid life. Where was she?! "I'm fine. Natural consequence on calling the dead." He says, glancing at the other.
The angel teleports off. Reappearing back at the battlefield. He'd since realized what had happened. The Hellscapers were not the ones responsible for the tearing of the universe, rather, they learned of it, and used it to execute a surprise attack on Earth, and if it weren't for the interference of those in the cafė, Earth would be in the midst of suffering a loss, rather than a draw.
Alexander nods, his body trembling. Izzy… Izzy… his only friend in this horrid life. Where was she?! "I'm fine. Natural consequence on calling the dead." He says, glancing at the other.
“The dead?” Blue asked, but then realized this wasn’t the place. Alexander could make clones of himself for all Blue cared, so as long as he was safe. Blue looked back towards the invaders, “What are we supposed to do?”
Alexander shakes his head. Izzy… "I don't know!" he says, leaning against his scythe. "They just keep coming." He collapses against his scythe. It felt so hopeless.
The angel decides to check back up on the cloth creature and Alexander, teleporting back.
He sees the cloth thing tending to a collapsed Alexander.
"Take care of him, creature." The angel calls, stepping to face the invasion.
Blue reached his hands out to Alexander’s forearms and his cloth snaked around the male’s arms, then Blue finally decided to risk shifted. The cloth wrapped around Alexander’s forearm’s became Blue’s hands gripping the other’s wrists. Blue felt pain attack him at once, bruises taking form from all the hits he took in his cloth form. He hid his wince and looked at Alexander’s silver eyes, “What can I do?” Then Blue added, “What can I do for you?”
The angel took out his throwing knives, launching them at the invaders so that the two guys behind him could talk.
Alexander shakes his head. "I'm okay… it's fatigue." He says softly. "I can assure you, Blue. This is normal." His eyes are filled with pain.
“It doesn’t matter if something’s normal or not. It matters if it hurts or not. Physically or emotionally,” Blue replied, looking at Alexander’s handsome face directly in the eyes.
Jophiel continued to fight for the two guys back there, although he knew he didn't have much left. He had to resort to teleporting and single knife throwing.
Alexander looks at the other. His voice cracks. "I'm alright." he assures. He takes a breath. "It's fatigue is all… I've overused my extent of ability."
“Hide then,” Blue implored, “Go find Izzy,” He wasn’t entirely sure what the lady was to Alexander, but he was worried for her, that was apparent, “I can still fight. I’ll fight in your place,” Blue wouldn’t be as good of a fighter, but he was good enough with knives. Just as long as Alexander got out of the fray.
Alexander shakes his head. "I have to help… she'll be alight…" he says softly. His eyes are filled with a vengeance.
“Don’t hurt yourself. If you do, I’ll be angrier than a cold cup of tea,” Blue said, using the adopted phrase his mom always used by habit. He shifted back into his cloth form, and he knew he was badgering, but he added anyways, “Don’t push yourself too hard either. If you die, I won’t forgive you,” Then Blue sent another wave towards the enemy attackers, some of them slipping.
Alexander glances at the heavens. "You're really gonna hate me for this, then…" he trails of and mutters, "Attack." And army of the dead appears. They shriek loudly, some wailing in utter fury. He smirks, before collapsing. His face is deathly pale, his breathing shallow.
Blue whirled when he saw the dead rise. But his shock turned to fear when he saw Alexander, lying on the ground. He rushed over, invaders forgotten, “What did I just tell you!” He hissed as he shifted and got down to his knees. Enemies were still coming in. And Blue knew, in the back of his mind, that a simple wave would not stop him. He saw it when the first male came to attack. And Blue tried to not see his face, he really tried, but Blue knew that face would be implanted in his mind when he dredged up water and filled his lungs. Blue murdered the male. Then the next group of invaders behind him. He whirled back to Alexander, “Are you okay are you okay areyouokay?” He knew his words were becoming more frantic as the adrenaline finally started to wear thin. Blue was a murderer.
Alex was out cold, but still alive. His scythe had disappeared, the dead shrieking as they attacked the aliens. He grunts slightly, obviously in pain. He would be in a lot of trouble if he didn't get medical attention… Quickly.
Blue checked Alexander for a pulse, and thank goodness he found one. But it was weak. He tried to lift Alexander up, but he wasn’t strong enough. He instead resorted to looking for other help, “Izzy! Izzy! Where are you?!?” If Alexander trusted Izzy, then maybe she could help… “Izzy!” Blue shouted at the top of his lungs in a panic, drowning -murdering- soldiers who got too close to Alexander.
