“I make most of my decisions based off of what you want. What’s wrong with that?”
“I make most of my decisions based off of what you want. What’s wrong with that?”
"Nothing," Lillian looked away, "It just feels wrong having that much power."
“I just want you to be happy,”
"I know you do, but still make it about half and half."
“I do things for me but I don’t need anything.”
"Well, I don't need anything either."
“But I have so much to give,”
"And I'll take it, I'm not turning you down or away," A sense of independence, that's all.
“Sorry. I guess I’ve always felt like I needed to protect you. From the beginning of this relationship that’s what I’ve had to do and the roles changed with the cancer stuff. You protected me and I’m just, adjusting I guess,”
"I understand, just remember I can take care of myself. Most of the time. As long as it's nothing supernatural."
“I know I just don’t want you hurt. We protect each other. I get that now but it’s just, I’ve just never had some on to protect me,”
Lillian laughed, "Well you do now."
“Aparantly,” he smiled.
"Apparently," Lillian smiled back.
He tapped her arm, “Tag you’re it!”
Lillian tapped his arm back, "No you're it."
“Hey!” He squealed and tickled her knee. “Whos it?”
Lillian let out a loud burst of laughter. She put a hand in his hair, "You're it."
He rolled on top of her and tickled her sides, “No! You’re it!”
Lillian was laughing like a child as her hands got instinctively pulled up against her body.
He laughed and kissed her nose. “You’re definitely it,”
Lillian giggled as she mock groaned, “Fine I’m it.”
“Woah,” he stopped moving everything and pouted.
Lillian raised an eyebrow as her started to speed up, “What is it?”
“You stopped the game by simply accepting that you’re it?”
