Bailey smiled shyly back at her. "Bailey. Bailey Pesca," she said, gaining a little more confidence. Her face clouded with confusion. "Pronouns?"
The person behind the red-head spoke up. "Yeah, like what we call you. If you're a girl, you would probably use she and her pronouns, if you're a guy, you would probably use he and him pronouns. If you're something in between or neither of those, like me, you would probably use they and them as your pronouns. Or maybe you use a combination. Whatever feels right to you." They shrugged, smiling at her.
Whatever feels right to you. What a concept. "Oh. Okay, then she and her." Bailey paused. "Um. Are we allowed to change our answers later?"
Frankie continued to grin, nodding even before the teen had finished speaking. "Of course you can. If your form is fluctuating so is your name and how you want to be addressed. You just let us know, kay?" She passed Bailey her name tag with a friendly pat on the hand. "Whatever makes you feel more like….well, you!"
"Um, thank you." Bailey smiled and kept smiling as she walked off.
Drew watched the girl walk off, a smile staying on her face. "It's amazing how much some of these kids don't know." They shrugged. "Next!"
(What is happening right now?)
Court raised her hand, grinning. "Court Nardovino, she her hers. Think I can get your name? It'd be nice knowing who I'm entrusting my summer to."
(What is happening right now?)
(all the newbies are just getting into camp.)
(Ok good,I'm not too far behind lol)
(Yeah, the next time a counselor is available your character can just jump in)
Court raised her hand, grinning. "Court Nardovino, she her hers. Think I can get your name? It'd be nice knowing who I'm entrusting my summer to."
Drew smiled and raised his eyebrows at the girl in front of them, amused. "Drew Okana. They/them/their's. Nice to meet you Court," they said, writing Court's name and pronouns down on a nametag. They pulled the sticker off and handed it to the girl. "Welcome to Safe Haven."
"Such a fancy name." Court joked, slapping the sticker onto the leg of her jeans. "It's a pleasure to meetcha, Drew."
Name: Natalie Keith Carlson
Age: 16
Gender: Biologically, he's female.
Pronouns: he/him/his
Sexuality/Romantic Attraction: Pansexual, tends to lean towards girls.
Role: Camper
Personality: Keith is shy, especially when it comes to his gender. He'll come out of his shell if water or sweets are involved, though(in water, he usually just wears a tee shirt and shorts).
Appearance: Keith has long brown hair that he ties back in a low ponytail. His skin is pretty tan, and he has freckles and green eyes.
Clothing/General Style: Though his mom makes him board the bus in this(https://i.pinimg.com/564x/d3/11/af/d311af49241bd070292abbdcf355b9da.jpg?b=t)Keith prefers baggy clothing(for obvious reasons) but hates being hot, so he opts for a yellow short-sleeved hoodie and some ripped-up jeans. He does continue to wear the shoes he brought with him, though(red Converse)
Backstory: With a lesbian older sister that his parents refuse to associate with at all, Keith had to hide his identity from his parents for a while, but eventually they found a binder that he'd mistakenly ordered in the mail and went batshit.
Where they're from: Michigan
Other: I've never RPed a trans character before, so I guess we'll see how this goes? Also Keith is definitely a weeb.
Let me know when I can start RPing! If I'm accepted lol
Mendax, by now, had found their way to a small space where no one was, sitting down on a log to try and calm down. I'm okay, I'm okay. This isn't what I thought it would be, it's still scary but less scary! They thought, taking deep breaths. "Hello!" Jasper interrupted Mendax's thoughts with a cheery hello, plopping down right next to them. "I noticed you were sitting all by yourself and was wondering if you wanted company!"
Ivy was sitting alone waiting g for a counselor to be free
(I should back Ryan away from the corner…)
Ryan felt himself grow a bit tired, he knew about being patient, but he just couldn’t bare it. He walked over to a random picnic table, didn’t care about who was around him, and sat down. He put his head on the table and closed his eyes, resting his brain trying to forget about his doubts of his own choices.
(I feel like I did awful…)
(If there are any counslers free, Val is just chilling)
"Such a fancy name." Court joked, slapping the sticker onto the leg of her jeans. "It's a pleasure to meetcha, Drew."
Drew smiled. "The pleasure is all mine. You can go ahead and head right over there," they said, pointing to where the other campers had started to gather. "Next!" Drew called, smiling, as Court walked away.
(Hey Moxie, am I accepted?)
(Oh sorry. Would you mind just putting a little bit for personality? Just like a general outline? Other than that, you're good and you can jump in)
Keith was standing among the other campers that hadn't been checked in yet. He kept fidgeting, messing with the bottom of his shirt. It was a nervous habit, and right now he was definitely nervous. The counselors could still be lying to them. They could be asking their pronouns so they knew what was "wrong" with them. Keith didn't want to be "fixed". He didn't want to be "normal". He wanted to be a guy, with the right parts and without the stupid, useless milk sacks that he had to put up with hanging off of his chest. His entire body was tense, and he didn't want to bump into or otherwise touch anyone. He just wanted out.
Drew smiled at Val, who had been standing by the table. "Alright, I am free. I believe you were next? Can I have your name and pronouns, please?"
