(OOOHAHAHAHA yes I love this so much. Okay, so when shall they fall for each other, or wha?)
(Well they realize their feelings during this next fight so… maybe after the next two fights? Then the bite?)
(HAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHHA YAS okay let's do this)
They approached the end of the town, a corner store laying just before them. It was eerily quiet out, almost as if the night sky was raking up all the sound before it reached their ears. He approached the door. "You ready?" His voice was quiet.
"What? Ready for what?" Aim gets her sniper ready. It dripped blood from either side of it.
"To eat." He turned to her. "I can see the food through the window." It didn't seem to be messed around with. "Come on." He opened the door. Ding! He looked up and saw a little bell above the door. "Cute."
Aim tuts and pushes roughly past him, "Move it."
Axl stumbles forward. "Hey!" He scoffs and begins to look at the food on the racks. Everything seems to be in order.
"That's surprising… Nothing seems to be touched in here." Aim walks down one of the aisles. She reaches up to take something down from the racks. As she does a cold clammy hand grabs tight to her wrist. She shrieks with surprise. Another grabs her ankle and she topples to the ground.
He had walked further into the store when he heard her shriek. "Aim!" He pulls out his gun and runs to find her. "Aim!" He feels like his chest was going to explode. There weren't supposed to be any zombies here.
Aim kicks out, being able to release her foot, "Shoot it!." She crawls backward as fast as possible.
He quickly shoots it and then hears grunts behind him. "Run!" He turns and starts to shoot at them.
"Huh?" Aim jumps up to her feet, grabs a few bags of food and runs the other way, "Nope! Not this way!" She backs up, stuffing the food in her backpack.
He quickly took out all of them. He tried to catch his breath. "Aim, are you still here?" He hoped that she wasn't and safely running the other way.
"I can't really go anywhere!" She snarls as she smashes in a zombie's skull with her sniper
"Where are you?" He runs past the ailes, glancing down each one in search of her.
"The very end!" She barks back, knocking the feet out from under another zombie and smashing in the head of a crawler at her feet. A third zombie grabs her sniper and holds tight to it so she couldnt move it. a fourth zombie comes up behind her and pins her arms down to her side.
Something inside of him sparks, adrenaline pumps through his vains. He runs to the last aisle. He makes it to see the zombies starting to pin her down. Everything snaps, and in a split second, all four zombies are laying on the ground, shot straight through the head. He quickly runs up to her. His voice is full of concern. "Are you okay?"
"Sshiit man." Aim stares down at the bodies around her. She was sweating and out of breath otherwise unscathed.
"I -uh-" he looks around with her before looking back to her. "That. I. Is that a yes or a no?"
"What? Yes Im fine. Th-. Choke Thanks." She looks up at him and gulps slightly she had felt something strange when he had come to help her
"I- you're welcome." He looked around. Really, it felt like nothing to him. For some reason, it was everything that she was okay. "Let's gather some stuff and get out of here."
"I already have. At least-." She coughs, "Girl stuff."
He stuttered for a few moments before forming an answer, the tops of his ears turning red. "Okay."
Aim wasn't worried about saying stuff like that. She just hoped this guy was at least somewhat mature.
Seeing that she was comfortable made him ease off a little. "Alright. Well we need to find backpacks, food, and water." He thought for a second. "Maybe first aid and weapons if we can find them."
