Axl scoffed. "From what it seems like, neither of us have any food. So, we can go to the roof and look for any place that might have some. Good?" He made sure he announciated every word.
Axl scoffed. "From what it seems like, neither of us have any food. So, we can go to the roof and look for any place that might have some. Good?" He made sure he announciated every word.
She snarls, "Don't talk to me like that." She barks but puts the sniper around her shoulder with it's strap and follows the guy.
Axl makes his way up the ladder, partially satisfied with what should seem like a victory. Who wants to be alone in the apocalypse? Me. He pushes himself up to the roof and brings his leg up to stand. He looks back to see her and offers a hand.
She knocks it away and vaults up to the roof, "I can do it myself thanks."
Axl puts both his hands up. "Geez, sorry," he mutters under his breath. He walk over to the opposite side of the roof. The sun is setting to his left, making everything a shade of orange giving an illusioned sense of hope. He points out in the distance. "There." He looks back to her. "There's a shop out there. It's on the very edge of the town, not as many zombies walking around." It was a small town, but not small enough to get from one end to the next in twenty minutes. "But we'll have to wait till tomorrow if we don't want to get caught."
Aim walks out to the very edge of the roof to see. SHe shields her eyes then looks down at the few zombies below. (SHe's vulnerable! Knock her off the roof! XD
(XD That was what was running through my head. And Axl's. BTW I absolutely love your username starts crying NOOT!! MY CHIIILLLDDD!!)
Axl has an urge to just leave her staring into the distance and run off the other way, but something inside him told him she was worth keeping around. The sky began to fade out leaving a purple tone. "This is probably the best place to stay for the night."
(Oh yay! Lol you actually got the reference!)
"Cool. One of us should take first watch then. That is if we are sticking together in this now." SHe barks back, turning quickly as the thought of him pushing her off the roof flitted through his mind
"I will," he said without hesitation. "And I think it's a good idea to stick together at this point." He glances to see her turn. Darn. Harsh. "Don't be too surprised if I'm gone. I can't promise anything." …She's harsh?
Aim narrows her eyes but walks over to guy, "Fine. You'll need this." She smacks a small, crank flashlight into his hand, "If you run off it wont matter." She then flops down at the guy's feet on her side.
Axly looks down at her and scoffs. She's kinda cute. He snaps back. Like a blobfish! Which wasn't true, he just couldn't think about love. Only himself. He looks back out to the sky, stars beginning to show up and crosses his arms over his chest.
Aim kept her eyes open, having no intent on sleeping around this dude. She curls her legs close to her body and holds them. Her sniper digs into her shoulder but she doesnt bother to remove it since she might need it at anytime. (She'll realize her feelings later… Maybe after a fight scene? And your character saves her or something? I dunno. Just an idea)
(ooooOoOoOOoOoOOoOoO Yas)
The night set in along with a slight chill. He put his hands in his jacket and walked a little away from her, sitting down still watching the sky and listening for the grunt of the dead.
(It's just an idea. We dont have to)
Aim's eyes flicker in the moonlight but not very noticeable unless you look straight at her. She hated being near this guy. She didn't trust him at all. She was waiting to hea his footsteps on the rungs of the fireescape ladder.
Axl sat a little ways away. It was getting dark, and with no humans to keep up with electricity, it was pitch black. Except for the stars. He leaned back and stared at them. How do they seem to shine brighter in the midst of the world ending? Before the virus spread, he would take his sister stargazing almost every night. She loved the stars. And he loved to see the look on her face as the stars lit up the sky. He sighed ever so slightly.
Aim, despite of herself, could feel her eyelid dropping. She shakes her head slightl to stay awake the best she could
Axl saw her shake her head and laughed to himself. She really doesn't trust me, does she? He scoffs. I wouldn't either. Yet, he stayed quiet so she could sleep. However harsh he was, he still had that element of concern in his heart somewhere.
Aim rests her head down. Her eyes close, defying all her efforts and falls asleep. (Time skip? Or do you want to do the part where they switch watches?)
(Nah let's say he's a good enough person to let her sleep the whole night :P, time skip to morning!!!)
The sun had just begin to rise, purples and pinks painting the sky. Axl hadn't woken her up. Partially because he felt that she would need the sleep, partially because he didn't want to face the nightmares that awaited him.
(He's so nice lol)
Aim was drooling slightly on her arm. Her hair was a mess around her head. (So basically like Anna from Frozen)She snorts slightly and wakes up. She sits up and rubs her eyes like a child, "Huh? My turn? Move it, Spot." She mutters, still half asleep as she stands.
(XD)
Axl laughs softly. "It's morning, open your eyes." Even when she was a mess, she was fierce. Not that he wasn't a mess. There were probably dark bags under his eyes.
"Huh?" Aim opens her eyes and rubs them again, hissing at the light, " I TOLD YOU TO WAKE ME UP AT 12!"
Axl stood up. "That sucks. You got entire night of sleep, no zombies attacking you, I apologize." His voice was thick with sarcasm.
She raises her fist to punch him but drops it. She curses and readjusts her sniper on her shoulder, "Whatever. Let's just go. We have a long way today."
"Feisty," he mutters under his breath. He years towards the ladder. "Let's go."
